"There were red ants in the bathroom and toilet seat. I had to get rid of them, the hotel should use sprays before check in! The photos look great but the room was smaller and no TV in the room.. The road to get to the hotel isn't very easy for cars! Very steep. The location is outta city. I booked this place as it had swimming pool but it was under construction, they should have mentioned it."

On top of the hill so it’s tucked away from the traffic and noise of the city centre and has great views. - Friendly, helpful, professional and well dressed staff all with great English on hand around the clock. The helped us sort our laundry, carry our luggage to and from our room, plan our days and get around via Tuk Tuk or taxi. - Breakfast was included, they were happy to serve it at whichever time we requested and it was always there on time so we could easy fit it around our schedule. - Austin the Tuk Tuk driver that works for the hotel was very helpful and friendly. We exchanged numbers and were able to organise lifts with him at short notice to go to and from wherever we needed to go. He always replied and arrived promptly and spoke perfect English so it made the entire process very simple. He was also able to give us lots of tips, advice and local knowledge."

The tuk tuk driver ordered by the hotel was really helpful and cheap, and we saw a dance show on his recommendation which we really enjoyed. Thank you for our pleasant stay! Recommended!!!"

"The property is in a good location for Kandy’s attractions and is wonderfully quirky. The family room was a nice space for a family of 4. The best thing about the hotel is the manager and staff. They were always ready to help and so friendly. They helped us with multiple travel arrangements and even arranged for a local yoga guru to come and give us a fantastic roof top yoga session. Breakfast and dinner was also great."

"Due to the nature of the quirky fun building it isn’t spotlessly clean like a boring chain hotel, but this is a fair trade off for staying somewhere that you’ll remember rather than a chain hotel."
