"Lovely and colourful spot in a beautiful Latvian countryside with a feeling of a "ranch" - there are goats, chickens, cats, dogs and a lake just opposite that you can sail on with a boat. The host is very friendly and welcoming (Russian speaker, no English) and will prepare breakfast at an extra charge if you ask for it (we had delicious "blini" and fried eggs + sausages - the host asks what you want to eat). The place is full of art (paintings) and rooms are large and colourful - the place has a very unique character. Call the host directly for information about choice of rooms."
"We really didn't experience anything bad, the host is very flexible and tries to help with everything. We don't speak fluent Russian or Latvian but somehow we managed to communicate very well."
"Близко к границе, удобно. Машина на территории, холодильник не работал, у меня собака сыроед, ферментированное, уже готовое мясо не рискнула давать поутру перед предстоящей дальней поездкой,- сроки прошли. Голодная собака- здоровая собака! Много книг, есть что почитать.) Жанна, спасибо огромное вам за помощь с моим пробитым колесом!!!"

"Il mio voto deve essere spiegato: la struttura non è (e non pretende di essere) un hotel a 5 stelle. Siete nelle campagne, con abitudini e genti di campagna che lavora sodo. Ciò che offrono lo offrono con il cuore e la signora Zanna è davvero speciale. Magari dopo la colazione che vi fa con le uova freschissime delle sue galline, mentre bevete il caffè, visitate il suo piccolo museo, fatevi raccontare storie e aneddoti dell'epoca sovietica. Chi è abituato agli hotel subito rischia di rimanere un poco perplesso, però poi va via con un bel ricordo. Ecco dunque il mio voto."

Rezultātā ieguvām ne tikai naktsmītni, bet arī pievienojām mūsu ekskursijai vēl vienu apskates objektu!"

"Все было отлично: и просторный номер на троих, и завтрак, и приветливая хозяйка! Бонусом была еще банька - то что нужно после долгой дороги! Этот мини-отель находится недалеко от белорусской границы, комфортное и тихое место для ночевки. На территории можно увидеть курочек, барашков, напротив есть озеро, а с другой стороны лес. Рекомндую!"

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
