"The riad is a lovely place with a spectacular view from the rooftop. It has been fully renovated and is very well maintained, which really adds to the overall experience. Saïd and Mohamed were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. There is a parking spot nearby with a lovely guard. We had dinner too and it was super tasty and fresh."

"The only downside was that we had a ground-floor room with no windows, so there was no natural sunlight. We believe the upper-floor rooms are likely much better in that regard. Also, since the room is on the ground floor, you can hear people coming in and out. However, as the riad is small and the other guests were quiet, this was not a major issue for us."

"Lovingly restored historic site, lovingly restored with modern amenities. Beautiful decor with African art. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious, and the staff were so helpful with sightseeing suggestions. I'd also recommend the hamam, especially in the winter when it's cold outside. The rooftop terrace has fabulous views of the valled and the mountains. It's definitely worth staying a night or two here in Ouarzazate. Highly recommended!"

"Room located underground with a very small window showing people’s feet as they walked by. Quite noisy. Very hard mattresses, no windows or aeration in the bathroom."

"Lovely riad in the very heart of the ancient town. The rooms are beautiful, very quiet and comfy. Good breakfast with a view. Mohammed is the loveliest and kind person! He speaks perfectly 5 languages and suggested beautiful itineraries in the surrounding area."

"Very authentic with lovely decor. A nice start to our holiday. We were late in from airport but they were happy to give us a 3 course meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was upstairs served by Mohammed who was extremely friendly. Comfortable room. The parking is just a short walk from the hotel."

"To begin with the owner, a charismatic poet with the brightest smile in all of Fez, who gardens and philosophises on the rooftop above his roses and hotel. Amazing man! The other colleagues were so helpful and friendly! We didn’t experience any bother with the heat because of the airconditioning and had good wifi (amazing fiber!) You really must visit this hotel if you visit Fez! Great location and breakfast was a lot and very tasty!!"

"Staying at Hotel & Ryad Art Palace felt like discovering a peaceful oasis right on the edge of the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square. While the bustling energy of Marrakech was just outside, stepping through the doors of the ryad brought a sense of calm and elegance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and happy to help. The food was delicious, offering a wonderful taste of Moroccan cuisine. The décor of the hotel was truly beautiful. Every room and corner felt thoughtfully designed, almost like walking through an exhibition of Moroccan life, filled with intricate details, colours and traditional craftsmanship. It was a memorable place to stay and a perfect base for exploring the magic of Marrakech."

"Perfect luxury and you could do a scramble of a walk up the hills behind the hotel for exercise and a higher view. The view from the hotel was amazing though! The open wood fire in the restaurant was cozy and atmospheric. The gardens and terraces, rugs and outside tent were so beautiful. We were really well looked after. We had 2 nights before our flight from Fes. Loved it all! Thank you to all the staff."
