"Riad Hamza is located in the centre of the Medina, about 3 minutes walk to the main square. It was a great location for a first visit to Marrakesh. While central it was quiet at night."

"It is a design of Riad to have rooms facing onto the central courtyard. While the Riad is beautiful, having a room with no view was little odd. It would also be nice if the top terrace was made comfortable for visitors to sit in the evening."

"Good location in thé medina near thé big square and souk. Thé staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent."

"A couple of little niggles with the bathroom door and toilet seat but to be fair we didn't report them so they didn't get a chance to put them right."

"The staff were fantastic - helpful and friendly throughout our trip! Very personal touch. Highly recommended this stay and it was really simple to find considering everything we’d read about finding the riads."

"Only small negative was the noise, we did stay during Ramadan but between 11pm and 3am it was quite loud on the street outside with mopeds and bins etc, and even within the riad lots of banging from other guests which isn’t really their fault but it did disturb us a bit"

"Taha & Saeed at reception were super nice and helpful. They arranged tours for me to both Aït Ben Haddou & Ourika Valley and both went fine. On my way back from my last tour, they arranged to drop me off at the airport. The location is perfect, right next to Jamaa El-Fnaa."

"Quiet and comfortable. Small room but had what we needed in it and was nicely decorated.j"

"Shower was either too hot or too cold. Wasn’t possible to get an OK temperature! We had booked a twin with booking.com but they didn’t tell the hotel that so we ended up with a double. That was the fault of booking.com though and we managed with it."

"Joseph was an incredible host! Every night he asked if we wanted mint tea; every morning he greeted is in a friendly manner. He gave us suggestions about what/where to eat, he taught me new words/expressions in Arabic and he spoke English quite well! You are very lucky to have him as as part of your staff!"

"We had an amazing time at Villa Marco. The staff went out of their way to make Sabi’s birthday special — they even arranged a lovely birthday setup, which meant a lot to us. Everyone was incredibly warm and personal. Marco and his wife were super friendly and helpful, and Abdel was absolutely amazing — always attentive, kind, and ready to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere felt calm, welcoming and very genuine. We honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews. Yes, the villa is a little out of town, but that is exactly what we wanted — peace, quiet, privacy and a relaxed, personal experience away from the busy city. For us, it was perfect."

"메디나 안에 있는 숙소로 구글맵으로 길을 찾기 쉽습니다. 가까운 곳에 식당, 시장, 볼거리가 모두 있어 도보로 다니기에 아주 좋은 장소입니다. 작년 10월에 머물렀다 맘에 들어서 이번에도 묵었습니다. 옥상의 전망이 예쁘고 조리도 가능합니다. 직원들도 모두 친절합니다. 24시간 잘 관리 되고 안전합니다. 배낭 여행객에게는 정말 가성비 좋은 숙소라고 생각합니다. This accommodation is located in the medina and is easy to find using Google Maps. It's a great place to walk, with restaurants, markets, and attractions all nearby. I stayed here last October and liked it so much that I stayed again this time. The view from the rooftop is beautiful and cooking is possible. The staff are all friendly too. It is well managed and safe 24 hours a day. I think this is a really cost-effective accommodation for backpackers."
