In the palaces district on the Ziat hill, the charming Riad Soufiane enjoys a privileged location in Fès and offers sweeping views overlooking the medina. Warm and welcoming staff, a lovely patio planted with orange and lemon trees and decorated with a marble fountain, and elegant and airy spaces make this riad a cosy backdrop. The Riad Soufiane features spacious suites that have been renovated in respect to the local tradition while offering all modern comforts. Four lounges are spread around the patio and provide a cosy setting for relaxing and unwinding. The large terraces feature unrestricted views overlooking the medina, relaxation areas, a solarium, outdoor lounges and a belvedere. Dinners can be served if booked in advance and offer a range of delicious and regional specialities.

"The riad is stylishly furnished, and completely authentic. The central patio is an oasis of peace, with fragrant gardenia and citrus - a feast for the senses. Speaking of feasting, the food is amazing, Hassan is a natural and creative chef, and all served with a smile. Bernard is a helpful and thoughtful host. Riad Souafine is somewhere we would like to return."

Beautiful details in our room, as well as in the general courtyard. The breakfast is very delicious. Fes' medina is a bit of a maze, so it was great to get a map with a few recommendations of places to check out. Highly recommend!"
"The Riad is a bit hard to find at first; read their instructions on how to find them and follow! Including telling your driver where to drop you off so that you can get to them easily."

"Beeindruckend schönes Riad mit vielen hübschen Details in der Ausstattung, im allgemeinen Bereich, wie auch im sehr großzügigen und schönen Zimmer. Sehr schöne Dachterrasse. Der Eigentümer hat viel erklärt, war sehr behilflich und daran interessiert, dass man sich bei ihm wohl fühlt. Sehr gutes Frühstück"

"Bon emplacement, près d'une porte de la médina et pas loin des rues principales. Le Riad Souafine est un petit palais. Un magnifique patio avec des arbres et une fontaine. Décorations magnifiques, mosaïques et objets d'art dignes d'un musée marocain. Le maître de la maison nous a reçu royalement et on a apprécié l'excellente cuisine de Hassan. On nous a organisé aussi une visite en taxi des ruines de l'ancienne ville romaine Volubilis et du mausolée de Meknes. On en gardera des merveilleux souvenirs."
