"Nothing beats the location and view of this place. Though the stay wasn't entirely perfect, and we felt like some things were still under construction, it was such a unique place that I hold very dear memories to my stay here and would fully recommend it. It's a beautiful construction with all the amenities you need, hidden from the main street, and a great bonus was the binoculars we could use to scan the horizon and the lake."

"So now for full transparency: the place is not easily accessible. I don't know if they're planning to build a walkway or stairs, but as of right now, if you have mobility issues it will be very hard to get there. Also, the place isn't too far from the main road and you can actually hear that. And lastly, it is bug paradise there and we didn't succeed at all with keeping them out of the house. But please don't let any of this stop you from giving this place a chance, it's awesome!"

"I rented these apartments in August 2025. My stay was absolutely magical! The apartment has everything you need, even a small kitchen for cooking with dishes and pots. It turned out to be the perfect option for living! The host is a positive and friendly man who was always ready to help with advice whenever I had questions. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the apartment to the sea and about 20 minutes to a beautiful beach. There are shops and everything necessary nearby. The bus station is a 10-minute walk away. This is such a great rental option, and as soon as I plan another trip to Montenegro – I will only book these apartments 🤍🤍🤍"

"Sailors Home is a peaceful sanctuary; clean, surrounded by nature, lots of natural light, and adorned with soothing art. The backdrop of Stari Bar's stunning Old Fortress is spectacular to enjoy while sipping tea and reading a book in the outdoor space. The home is wonderfully comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked to make and enjoy home-cooked meals. Communication with the owner was superb, as there was a genuine desire to provide a wonderful experience for guests. I highly recommend Sailors Home for its easy access to the city of Bar and the local beaches, if you enjoy being a bit more removed from the congestion of the coastal crowds during high season."

"The garden comes directly from a fairytale, it has all a (young) child could ever wish for. The surroundings are tranquile, the hosts are wonderful and very friendly. Although it is not fully clear from all the pictures and info on booking.com, you are actually booking the whole property at once."

"한국인 손님은 처음이라고 하셨어요 ㅎㅎ 버스터미널과 가깝고 올드타운까지는 걸어서 10~15분 정도 걸려요! 숙소가 아주 깨끗하고 좋아요!! 취사가 가능해서 근처 마트에서 식재료를 사서 요리해먹었어요 호스트께서 외향적이시고 엄청 친절하세요! 체크인하면서 주신 초콜릿도 감사했습니다 ㅎㅎ 다음에 코토르에 가면 또 방문하고 싶어요!"
