"Ersilia, the landlady, is very considerate. She tried to make me as comfortable as possible despite the weather. She met me upon arrival and helped me with my luggage. She also took my large luggage downstairs the night before I left. The air conditioner in my room was broken so I was able to stay in an empty bedroom until it was fixed. Malta is fabulous and the people are really friendly, but go there in the winter!"

"The air conditioning is only in the bedrooms leaving the rest of the house oppressively hot. She does have ceiling fans in the dining room and living room which help. She needs one in the hallway in order to draw air from the window and distribute it down the hall. I thought it was a B & B, but no food is provided. However, there is a complete kitchen that is shared and local grocery stores nearby."

"Ersilia gave us a warm welcome on arrival and an assurance that if we needed anything, she would be on it right away. The room was bright, comfortable and most importantly, air conditioned. The communal kitchen was well-equipped and with complimentary tea and coffee, plus a coffee filter machine that was very welcome. The bathroom, although shared was always clean and pleasant. All in all, it was a great week and it was nice to come back to after a day's exploring to relax and unwind in cool comfort. Fantastic value for money, I would not hesitate to recommend Silia's Maisonette."

"The communal areas weren't air conditioned, so there was quite a temperature difference if you left your room. Malta in Summer is a hot place! I understand that the cost to air condition the entire property must be extortionate and this is in no way, a complaint , just an observation. The WiFi in the room wasn't particularly strong and would cut out quite a bit, but I didn't come to Malta to be glued to a screen all day, so it really wasn't that much of a problem! There is quite a lot of construction work going on in this part of Marsascala, and it might be worth bearing in mind that they do start early in the morning."

"Ersilia was very kind and helpfull host, even recommended us few spots and points to see in Malta. Everything was clean, room with AC, rarely we got in contact with other guests of accomodation. At last day we had late fligt and Ersilia offered us to leave luggage at her appartment till we leave to airport :)"

"This accomodation is great. The owner is really nice and helpful, all the spaces are comfortable in the house. The location is brilliant, the best beach is just 8 minutes from the house."

"Our stay at Silia's Maisonette was very comfortable. We did realize there were shared facilities, but we had not realized how spacious everything would be! Multiple fans in every room, clean bathroom and many appliences to use in the kitchen. The owner was very friendly and helpful! She also prepared some complimentary things such as tea, coffee and biscuits for you to use. Very homey feel overall. Located exteremly closely to a very quiete part of the beach with beautiful water to swim in. Not a touristy city, so no big crowds and good local restaurants. Easy access to busses that take you to any other city in 30-60 min! (recommend making city trips)"

"The tile floors were a bit dirty from people walking around in shoes. But just bring indoor slippers, and that should be fine. Our air conditioning broke in our room, but the owner immediately offered us to sleep in the other vacant room."
