From the moment we arrived, he was absolutely amazing—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to every detail. Mohammed went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well-informed throughout our stay. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, checking in to make sure everything was perfect, or simply being available whenever we needed support, his level of care really stood out. His friendly nature and dedication didn’t just meet expectations—they made our holiday even better. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to creating a memorable experience for guests. "Brand new property with good sized comfort rooms. Mohammed and his team were excellent and could not do enough for us. A really good breakfast was provided with eggs to order and a variety of different food each day."

"Mohamed was an absolute star. He helped us plan our stay, ensured we received a warm welcome, and handled everything with great care and professionalism. Having visited the island before, if we were to recommend just one place to stay in Dhigurah, it would undoubtedly be Sunwave. We had a wonderful time and genuinely felt better looked after than we have been in some five-star resorts. Breakfast was plentiful and nourishing, the rooms were spotless, and all the appliances were modern and in perfect working order. The only disappointment was having to leave Dhigurah – but we very much hope to return one day."

"One of our trips was unsatisfactory, having been on a very similar trip with another hotel the year before. But that's not Sunwave's fault, as the excursion was organised by a third party. "Mohammed was absolutely amazing and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We had some complications with a booking on another island, and he was there every step of the way—guiding us with genuine care and always with a smile. We will definitely be coming back. The energy here is kind, welcoming, and so genuine. I’ve never seen such beautiful people. The island itself is incredible, but Sunwave truly made our stay what it was. From organising our tours to the outstanding hospitality, they go above and beyond in every way. I felt safe, looked after, and happy at all times. Highly recommend. 10/10"

"The property was brand new and good hotel quality, very comfortable. The highlight was Mohammed, who from the very first smile and wave as we hopped off the speedboat gave very friendly service (best we had during our 3 weeks in the Maldives). We had dinner a few nights there as well which was delicious and reasonably priced. Location is good - a short walk to the bikini beach but feels less touristy that way, and is very close to the jetty. Would definitely stay there again!"
