"Excellent location Great pool and beach access was perfect. The unit we had didn't have a hairdryer or a microwave, which we worked around that. It's an older building which shows, but overall we'd stay here again."

"It’s right next to the beach so a lot of days we get to just sit by the swimming pool or jumping into the pool water or went into the ocean and hang on the beach. There are coconut trees and coconut leave umbrellas that can help shade a little if you don’t like full sun"

"The credit card machine didn’t work when we first arrived so we spent two hours battling with the reception people that it was not the card or the bank that have problem."

"When we arrived it said 24 hr hotel, we did arrive late at night. There was nobody able to check us in manager had to come off site to bring keys because previously the keys were stolen so they didn't keep them at the hotel. When she did arrive she was yelling at us slamming drawers and items on the counter. Also it said pool with a view. The view was a wall and there was a pool but no view no balcony very deceiving. They wouldn't accommodate any changes. This hotel had no restaurant on site I assumed hotels do but that's on me. That person has no business being a manager very unprofessional I don't talk to people like that and it was uncalled for."

"Bed and pillow were hard, both my husband and I had back and neck pains by the end of the week we stayed. The receptionist/manager that is female was unfriendly, although hotel was empty most of the week we asked to change rooms because of construction noise right next to the hotel she literally said it wasn’t her problem, but then there was another construction inside the hotel (basically two constructions in the same time) then she agreed to change rooms. She argued with my husband about light and liked to have last word, instead of not having that conversation at all just be polite to a customer and say thank you/sorry and that would be the end of the story. Room states it has partially sea view but because of the construction outside it’s basically the construction view. The photos show our view. We won’t be back."

"We liked the pool overlooking the beach and ocean. The rooftop restaurant was nice with good and decent prices however quite sure it is run independently from the hotel. Decent location."

"I hope the owners take these suggestions seriously. This place could be made super nice with a bit of investment and a lot of elbow grease. It looks very tired mostly due to a lack of deep cleaning and maintenance. 1. The pool heater should have a tray under it with a hose to drain it instead of being allowed to drain down the stairs, causing mold to grow on the steps (over time this is going to destroy the stairs to the beach and cost much more to repair). 2. The wood railing on the deck by the pool needs the rotten boards replaced. 3. Tiles by the pool shower need an overhaul or even good cleaning and all the tile decking around the pool needs a major scrubbing and some maintenance. Also, some tile work on the pool itself is required. 4. The grout lines in all the floors including halls, rooms, and showers need a good, deep, scrub cleaning of mold and grub. 5. Upgraded curtains and cleaning the furniture would be well received as well. They have stains throughout. kitchenware is old and unkempt. The kitchenette does not have dish soap but they want you to do the dishes. 6. Even the elevator is dirty from top to bottom. 7. Much of the painting is substandard including paint on windows and tiles as well as major splotching in the stairwell floors. Need a person who knows the proper way to use a caulking gun to peel old caulking in many places and do a professional job. Appearance is highly deflated from horrible caulking work. We feel like this place could be a gem in the neighbourhood but it really needs some maintenance. It is going to fall far behind all of the new construction in the area if something isn't done soon and we don't believe a fortune has to be spent to get it there. Sorry if this review offends the owner but maybe you are unaware of how others see it. We would most likely come back to this location however it would be great if you made an effort to bring the place up a bit. Maybe we could help. BTW: The daily cleaning was sufficient."

"All was well except the leaving. We understood that we coùld leave our bags at the desk and enjoy the pool after check out per their advertising but we were told we had to pay 350 pesos each to stay. We had an uber coming in 2.hours but Daniella insisted upon 350 pesos each even after i said we coùld tip. She said you are using the pool and i said there was absolutelt no one in the pool and only 5 of 15 lounge chairs occupied. I spoke to some of the other canadians and they felt the same way that management had changed and they had difficulty getting toilet paper and paper towels etc and they were going elsewhere. One couple had been going there 28 years and were moving 2 hotels over next year already booked."

"Location,quiet,nice pool,right on the ocean. Nice firm beach, for walking . Friendly Canadians.Able to walk everywhere within 15 minutes. Front desk,Daniella was wonderful. Lovely restaurant on top of building,good food.Would recommend,good value for $. Kitchen was adequate, made breakfast in most days.Great coffee shops and pastry.GF muffins at Palma Bakehouse, Canadian owner,Baker. December 1-15,2024"
