"The atmosphere at this old hacienda was wonderful. It has the feeling of abandoned charm, and old world mystery. The gardens and building and animals to explore was really fun. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and eager to welcome us. It’s a huge property and there is a lot of upkeep to do around the place, so some parts are more modern than others. Understand that this is a bit of a shabby, dilapidated place with a lot of history and the staff are doing their best to keep it alive for posterity. It’s got great charm. The pool area is wonderful. Parking is easy. The rooms are air conditioned and the bedding is clean, the breakfast is also great!"
