"We travelled whole night from SA to Mozambique and they didn’t have problem to allow us early check in because the rooms were not occupied. That’s a tick for,they cared about that we have to rest from whole night driving.I also liked it because it attached to the mall with most restaurants and also not far from places of interest"

"We had a wonderful time at Luke's Place back in November. Linda was a lovely host, and very knowledgeable of the area. Communication was quick and easy. Her property is in a beautiful neighbourhood and has a direct access to the beach, just a short walk from the central market. The garden was extremely well taken care of, with sunbeds to relax and a pool. The apartment we stayed in was super comfortable, spacious, clean and the bed was perfect. The best equipped kitchen in this side of the world! Other than all these things, what mattered the most, was the great feeling you're left with after staying at Luke's Place - that's the best memory. I sense we will be back in the future!"

"The staff are so friendly and awesome, I had issues with my Visa application and needed details from Turtle Cove - which she supplied PROMPTLY and were accepted. Also we arrived durin gthe horrible floods and Nlia helped connect us with Ernesto at Amigos Tours and Shuttles who were also just awesome in assisting us with all our internal transport needs. PLUS there is a Yoga room with one of the best Yoga teachers I have experienced 3 days a week lus we had extra private sessions. The room was lovely, the spacious lounge-dining area very welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed. we did not use the pool."

"Amazing place, the location gives you a peaceful beach in one direction and the more lively beach in the other. The rooms are lovely and spacious, the restaurant is excellent and the best part is you can sit and watch whales breaching while you have your breakfast. Dive centre and all the trips are also excellent. Highly recommend."

"The staff was very accommodating, lovely and friendly. Nice breakfast and relaxing seating area (Deli meats, breads, fruits, cereals, coffee, juices etc). Very peaceful as our family was the only one in the 2nd guesthouse where they have a very small restaurant. The 1st house was full, so we cant comment on it. The rooms were very clean, nicely decorated, nice sized comfortable beds/pillows, and clean/big mosquito nets. Recommend accommodation, if you are not interested in hotel rooms. Restaurant was nice to sit down for drinks and music with lovely small garden and small splash pool (not for swimming as its more for abidance)."

"We had a fabulous stay at Ebony Beach. The property is right on the beach. Unit one is on the water edge with beautiful sea views. We stayed 3 nights in unit 2, which are a bit higher up the property. It's not really a sea view from there but still overlooks a very well-kept tropical garden and your private pool. The trees block the sea view. The unit is a 4 bedroom spacious house in a very nice Colonial style. It's definitely a prime spot for Vilanculos."
