Catherine Villa

"Undoubtedly this hotel's main attributes are its location (proxinity to the unmissable Bature Brewery!) and its affordability. Whilst the bedrooms are a little 'idiosynchratic', I really liked the hotel as a whole and the staff were SO helpful and accommodating - especially with the bar facilities when it mattered. The staff are probably the friendliest I have found anywhere on VI. But its the price for what you get that makes me recommend the hotel and the location cant't be beaten."

"There is a 'kitchen' area in the bedrooms but no real amenities are left in terms of utensils, cups/glasses or consumables like water or coffee - especially if the room is booked for 2 people. But these are small complaints compared to the great value that you get when staying here."

"The rooms design"

"Lack of good restaurant. Lack of enough car parking spaces. Infact, the premises can only take 3 cars"

"It was an all round amazing place. It felt like home away from home. Staff were polite, very helpful, breakfast was really nice even to the staff at the gate."

"Hardly anything. Everything was smooth and I stayed for almost 2 weeks."

"The breakfast was simple but satisfactory. Some breakfast cereal and fruit would have been nice."

"Everything was perfect, especially the friendliness of the staff. I have travelled the world extensively and stayed in may hotels and guesthouses, in all my years of travel I have never come across such friendly staff at the hotel, in particular Grace who greeted me on my late arrival, she went the extra mile throughout my stay, for example she arranged for someone to come an change money at the hotel, she made sure I got the best rate and even counted the cash to make sure everything was in order. She arranged taxis for me to visit parts of the city and even followed up with phone calls to the taxi driver and guide to make sure I arrived safe and sound. Grace, you deserve a big bonus from your boss! I would highly recommend Catherine Villa for your stay in Lagos. Eugene, from Ireland"

"Nice location. Clean. Nice pool. Comfy bed. Close proximity to bars stores. Good customer service from all staff."

"Breakfast was good but lack of choice. No fruits. No juices"

"It was a good enough breakfast to be honest, and it was a lovel,y nice place at the right price in VI"

"The Numbering of the street... we almost got lost"

"Amazing location and great staff!"

"Comfortable room and very helpful staff."

"Breakfast was not sufficient and needs to be increased to standard in terms of quantity that should be served at a hotel."

"The whole Experience was amazing and I will stay there again for sure"
