"i didnt have breakfast"

"check in was a nightmare. I would recommend further clarity on check in. i got a taxi from the airport, which was €50 and was there before 9pm, but it was too late for reception. I appreciate English is not the first language of many. I had told them I would be in after 8pm as I had a late flight so they left my key at another hotel. Which I ddnt discover until I was at the location of Alex rooms. Which to be honest was very confusing. There was no answer to any message or calls to either location but someone helped me at the zwanneberg hotel. I was tired. There were no exterior lights at the location, so it was impossible to see the messages on the window by the door. So I had to walk to the other hotel, collect the key and walk back. I have limited mobility and suitcases, I was not pleased. But the room was lovely and quiet. It had a balcony which I didnt have time to sit in and the sun shone brightly the 2 days I was there. Apparently its normal for them to leave the key at another destination which could have been spelt out before I flew. This would have made the check in simpler for me. But overall a pleasant stay once I got over the getting in to the place."

"The room was very neat, well maintained and has a fantastic balcony. If you have late check in, try to get in touch with owner and request key to be left in box outside hotel; important since no staff are present after 9:00pm (If this was a non issue, this would be the best choice no question)"

"Check in isn't straight forward - you have to pick it up from reception at different hotel hearby; so check out. I even didn't realise we can't leave key before 9am when we had to rush to catch our plane. There wasn't kettle or anything - which for us, tea drinkers, was upsetting: there is no many places around at that outskirts-Amsterdam place open at evening to get a cuppa ."

"I didn't have breakfast. The location was pleasant. On the first night I arrived late and couldn't get into the guesthouse, but your staff help was fantastic. Great that you have a fruit seller and a supermarket nearby."

"Room was a little cool. There was the faint hum of a fan in the wall by the shower running all night; this may have been to extract from the shower in the room below me as nothing I did stopped it, but it wasn't an issue on the second night."
