"Spacious and clean apartment with a nice view of the harbour. The owner was very helpful and answered our call at 9 p.m., when we discovered that our original booking (Vaerøy Brygge) was closed. The floating sauna on the harbour is a must-try! We saw northern lights from their as well, beautiful!"

"The guesthouse is only 800m from the ferry pier, has rooms with a nice view of the mountains (and harbor as well). Kind staff, clean room and facilities. The shop and cafe are 1.5 km away. Next to the guesthouse there's a sauna that you can rent, floating in the harbor. Bicycles are for rent in the village I think. The ferry to the island (a nice trip) is for free and even the helicopter services to/from Bodø are not that expensive (winter 2025)."

"The apartment felt more spacious than in the pictures and was super clean. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds very comfortable (firm mattresses and good quality bedding) and the shower was great. We loved our stay in Bensvik Brygge and hope to visit Vaerøy again!"

"Really nice and idyllic place, helpful and pleasant hosts, awesome terrace where it was nice to sit with morning coffee and glass of wine in the evening. All in all, unforgettable experience. Also, we got invited to join morning swimming in the sea. It was fun, do it if you have a possibility :)"

"It might seem a little bit cliché that I set everything to "very good", but it was honestly the best stay of our entire Norway holiday. The reception waited at night for our ferry to arrive, even when we were a little late (problems finding the right hotel). The room was very clean, especially the shower looked like they installed a new one just for us. It was all just very nice!"

"If I had to name one thing to complain, it would be the dish situation. First of all: We had dishes and tableware, even some tee and a kettle (seemingly free? We didn't take anything) - all very nice! We just found that washing the dishes was a little uncomfortable since we had to do it in the ceramic sink in the bath. It worked, but never felt safe."
