"Red Planet Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Thamel, the main tourist hub of Kathmandu. All the popular eateries, cafés, and shops are just steps away, which makes getting around incredibly easy. Major attractions, including the Durbar Squares, are within a comfortable 15-minute walking distance."

"I had a wonderful stay at Shambala ... everything about the hotel is top notch: rooms are very nice and comfortable, everything is clean, the food in general is delicious including a very varied breakfast, roof top restaurant/bar/pool is very nice.
