"The hotel exceeded our expectations! The room was spacious, modern, comfortable and really, really clean. The hotel stuff was exeptional - super friendly and helpful. The hotel's restaurant serves great coffee and delicious meals. Also, the location is incredible, only 5 minutes to the Durbar Square and there are little monuments to see pretty much everywhere around it."

"This hotel is a gem. Located in the most beautiful town of the Kathmandu Valley, a few steps from the most beautiful square in the area, and away from the traffic and noise of the busiest streets, it is the ultimate choice for a stay in Nepal. The rooms are clean and spacious, our apartment was provided with a fully equipped kitchen. The staff members are extremely friendly yet very professional. Very good breakfast, it is also possible to have a quick lunch in the hotel restaurant. This was my second time in Timila Hotel and, should I be back in Nepal, it will be my place again."

"The hotel is centrally located for all main tourist sites and is less than five minutes walk to Durbar Square. We were allocated an upgraded apartment room. This was exceptionally well equipped but although this was also very spacious, it had a modern design with less character than the standard rooms we had booked. Breakfast is a menu choice. The non-vegetarian selection consisted of fruit or juice, choice of hot egg dish, bacon, sausage, toast and tea/coffee. This was perfectly satisfactory."

"Hokke Lumbini is a fantastic location if you’re planning to visit the birthplace of Buddha. Everything is within walking distance, but you can also hop on a rickshaw if you prefer. It’s only 25 minutes from the airport, and they even offer a convenient airport shuttle service. The rooms are spacious, clean, and feature incredibly comfortable beds and a top-notch shower. It is a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary to spend a few days. The staff is exceptionally friendly; they genuinely care about how you’re doing and are always ready to help with any questions. The food is also excellent, with a variety of choices and great attention to dietary requirements. All in all, my stay at Hokke Lumbini was a wonderful experience!"

"Our stay at the Retro Hotel was wonderful. The staff is super nice and helpful, the room was beautiful and equipped with an extraordinary bathroom including a whirlpool bathtub. It was very clean, there was an abundance of hot water and I really like the custom made furniture. We had a wonderful balcony overlooking the entrance to Thamel. The breakfast was very tasty and served in the top floor with a wonderful view. Also there is the possibility to get different kinds of massages at 20% off in the same building. I chose the Ayurvedic massage and definitely recommend that too. Thank you so much for the excellent treatment you gave us during our visit!"
