"An easy 5 minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Convenient to food, sights, and shopping but just outside of the central district. A quiet, tranquil spot to rest after a day of activities. A great sized room with a large lounge and kitchenette across the hall and a sunny terrace overlooking the river."

"The place exceeded my expectations: spacious room, comfortable bed, adjustable bed lights as well as the usual ceiling lights, bathroom spacious, everything very neat& tidy and of better quality than usual accommodation. A very well-stocked kitchen nearby, with dining and lounge furniture also."
"As I have a walking disability, the steepness of the outside of the property was uncomfortable and a bit difficult. The street was very steep also which meant that I really had to drive rather than walk which was a pity as the Town Basin etc is very close by."

"처음 맞이부터 숙소내부 청결, 편안함 모든게 만족스럽습니다. 부산에서 22시간 이상 걸려 당일 오전 크라이스트처치에 도착해 렌트카 픽업 후 갔던 첫 숙소였어서 너무 피곤한 상태였는데 따듯한 숙소에 몸과 마음이 다 녹았습니다. 강력추천합니다."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
