"Stunning location with confident staff who, while being more than courteous and helpful, were also able to stop talking and to allow us to enjoy the Lodge and its amazing menu for each meal. The full moon rising over a nearby headline was an additional and exceptional feature. As the song goes, "Silence is golden" and the Tui's, Fantails and Ruru (Morepork) calls provided a natural symphony for our relaxing stay."

"처음 맞이부터 숙소내부 청결, 편안함 모든게 만족스럽습니다. 부산에서 22시간 이상 걸려 당일 오전 크라이스트처치에 도착해 렌트카 픽업 후 갔던 첫 숙소였어서 너무 피곤한 상태였는데 따듯한 숙소에 몸과 마음이 다 녹았습니다. 강력추천합니다."

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
