"Our hosts were wonderful, erudite and gracious. Our room was simple, totally unpretentious, just what we needed. Breakfast was far beyond our expectation. The simplicity of our room was truly refreshing and a great base to explore the National Museum and Sea Palace of Old Muscat from."

"Fantastic location in Old Muscat, a short walk from the Bait al Zubair and National museums, the Royal Palace and Al Mirani fort. The number 4 bus goes from outside the palace to Muttrah for 300 baisa per journey. Our hosts were absolutely delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful. They arranged our airport transfer to the property and even gave us a lift to a local restaurant on our first evening where we had a delicious meal. One family member is a travel agent so offered to help us with any tour arrangements and booked us a snorkelling tour to the Dalmaniyat islands."

"There are 2 rooms on the ground floor of the house with a shared dining area where our breakfast was served. We had the triple room which has an en-suite bathroom. The beds were a little on the hard side but the room was spacious and had a fridge. The other room has a separate bathroom off the dining room so choose the triple room if you prefer an en-suite."

"We absolutely loved staying here during our time in Muscat. We felt incredibly safe and welcomed. The breakfasts were so lovely that we miss them now! It is also an excellent location if you want to be within easy walking distance to the al-alam palace, national museum and al-mirani fort or a 5-min drive to Mutrah souq, Mutrah fort and the port. Would thoroughly recommend!"

"We enjoyed the stay here. The host is uncomplicated with clear instructions on how to find the house and the keys. Restaurant tip was good and the hiking path is nearby. Currently they are building a house next door which gives some noise. But the workers are very friendly."

"The studio was a good place to stay for a few days around Salalah. We hadn't appreciated the number of facilities available at the resort (swimming pool, beach, restaurants etc). We didn't utilise these ourselves as we had plans to visit other places around Salalah during our 3 night stay. But for those who prefer to stay 'local' , this accommodation has plenty of facilities on your doorstep too! The owner was very responsive to messages when we had queries about the accommodation. We also saw dolphins swimming off the coast from the resort which was a highlight for us!!!"

"So we were unsure whether to book this or not because of the reviews here, but took the risk! The property was absolute AMAZING, the location was perfect, but the staff were unbelievable! I mentioned it’s one of our friends birthdays and he went out to FILL the villa with balloons, decorations, birthday cake, candy, and lots of other fun things for when we arrived! We all arrived at awkward timings but he made sure to meet us super early to check in. He arranged a chef to cook us a bbq, constantly made sure we were well looked after, the villa is amazing, clean, comfortable, awesome cinema room, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing, and there’s a steam room! Huge villa but still very homely feeling, 100% recommend and we will definitely be back soon! Again thank you so much to the staff for making sure we were well looked after and going above and beyond at every stage! You were awesome !"

"Place was very clean, beds comfy. I loved the atmosphere, so calm and relaxing. They have a terrace overlooking a palm oasis where you can sit and sip your coffee or tea. Dinner was provided which was very tasteful. Location was great just in the centre of the village."

"Excellent location for discovering nizwa, jebels etc. Outstanding advice from the host, very nice and warm person. Site partially still unther construction(wich did not bother us), with huge potential for large groups and families. Beautiful gardens with animals and swimming pool. Very large, new and comfortable room."
