"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged for me to be picked up from the airport and waited for me when my plane was delayed. The room was lovely and extremely well equipped. Close to the main Plaza and in a quiet safe neighbourhood."

"Very nice staff, extremely helpful. Good tasty breakfast on the terrace. Very clean and comfortable room. The hotel was within walking distance to the main square and to the bus station. We arrived by plane, and we had contacted the hotel ahead to have a driver pick us up. The driver was there, and we had him drive us on subsequent days to visit archaeological sites and nearby towns. Excellent driver! We left by bus, and we just walked with our luggage to the bus station."

"The rooms facing the street had a lot of traffic noise particularly on Saturday night. When we complained they offered a room at the back of the building that was quiet and comfortable"

"Las instalaciones y la ubicación es muy buena"

"Justo la noche que llegue, un edificio del frente realizó una fiesta y la bulla fue muy molesta, pero entendemos que fue algo circunstancial, por ello recomiendo buscar habitaciones con vista interna para evitar la bulla de la ciudad. Ademas al hacer el check out me quisieron cobrar un supuesto consumo de un producto de la habitación, cosa que no hice, y parece que entendieron pero género un momento incómodo al finalizar el tramite, deben controlar más al personal de limpieza y reposición de productos de las habitaciones para que tengan un conteo exacto de las cosas que hay en el hotel y asi evitar estos problemas."

"Huge, spacious room with a very large king sized bed. Would have given 5 stars for comfort but the room was very cold. It took a long time for the small heater to make it comfortable so we were glad of the blankets provided. Shower was hot and heated up relatively quickly. If coming via taxi, give the driver the instructions that the B&B send in advance else they go up the wrong road and you have to walk up quite a few steps with your luggage."

"What a little gem! I loved my stay at Tamaris.. I could not have hoped for a more genuine and helpful welcome. This lovely family run hotel is warm and welcoming. It’s also got a really fabulous roof top hand out place with free coffee! lovely clean and comfortable and an excellent location for restaurants and bus terminals."

"The staff was super duper helpful. We had to arrive in the middle of the night, and the communication was smooth with the staff beforehand on WhatsApp. The room was clean, a bit small, but fine. Didn't notice we booked a package with a shared bathroom, but it was very clean, and I couldn't complain at all. The breakfast was OK, coffee, egg, and bread. The rooftop balcony was really nice. We got small gifts when checking out. This bought some bonus credits from me (laugh). With this price in Lima, it was worth staying! BTW, highly recommend you book the shuttle service from the hotel. The airport pickup place was caotic, and Uber was extremely expensive."
