"Lovely peaceful oasis from the noise of the city. We stayed just before Christmas and it was only us and a few other guests. The owner was so kind and helpful - he helped us book Laguna 69, showed us how to get the collectivo to Laguna Churup, and even made us an early breakfast before our hike."
"The only thing is we were a bit confused whether we could use the kitchen to make our own food, but it was so basic that we ended up going out to eat anyway."

"The garden patio and indoor common space were gorgeous and peaceful. Shower had hot water. Breakfast included (scrambled eggs, bread, butter, jam, juice) wasn’t a huge portion but it was delicious. Beds were comfy. Neighborhood is a little quieter than the center of town but only a few minutes walk to get to the center. Best of all the owners were so kind and helpful!"
"No TP in the bathroom once in a while but if you asked the owners they would replace it quickly."
"I went in 3 hostels in Huaraz and this one was the best for me. The patio with all the plant is really beautiful and changes everything for me, and owners are nice. My room was really pretty, on the top of the building with a view and a balcony."
"The shower wasn’t working very well, they proposed to use another room’s shower. Also in the room itself you can hear noises (or music) from the city, on week-ends it can be too much. Also equipment in the kitchen can be improve."

"Since place is next to the road it was a bit noisy during the night; since almost all excursions started very early we missed 2 breakfasts out if 3 as at Jo's place breakfast is available only from 7h30 (however we used kitchen to make some sandwiches by ourselves)"
"We loved our stay! Really good value for money - super clean, friendly staff, comfy and warm bed, hot shower, decent breakfast, wifi, and super nice garden. Really good place to either stay for a night on your way through or to base yourself for a few days!"

"The hosts are super friendly and open to help with any advice around the city or even book a tour for you. I loved the place with lovely inner garden, bbq pit and the views of the city and surrounding mountains from the 3rd and 4th floors."

"Friendly staff who speak good English. We’re able to accommodate my requests for an early breakfast and let me leave a bag for 5 days while I went to the mountains. Shower was warm with good power. Clean and relaxing"
