One of the oldest hotels in Porto, Hotel do Norte features free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception. Located 150 metres from Bolhao Metro Station in the city centre, it offers air-conditioned renovated rooms with stylish furnishings and modern bathrooms. Some of the bright rooms have a private terrace with a view of Capela das Almas Church, with its ornate blue and white façade. Guests can have a taste of traditional Portuguese cuisine or enjoy some beverages at the bars and restaurants within a 15-minute walk. Hotel do Norte is both less than a 5-minute walk from Oporto Coliseum and Bolhao City Market. The Metro offers easy access to the rest of the city. Bicycle rental is available and the property can arrange car rental. Porto São Bento Train Station is 10 minutes’ walk and the city’s Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is 13 km away. The Guindais Funicular is located at a 10-minute walk and it can take guests to visit the Ribeira area by the Douro River.

"We have stayed at Hotel do Norte before, which is a beautiful big old building in the centre of Porto, but this time we booked an apartment. It was just round the corner, only a few minutes walk away. We were on the 4th floor, there is a lift, but it only goes from the 1st floor, so please be aware there are some stairs involved. The apartment was great, we were only there for one night so didn't really take full advantage of the facilities, but it was well equipped and very comfortable. Brilliant Wifi."

"The apartment suited our needs, nothing to complain about. The tiled floor was a little bit slippery in places, so you would need to be mindful of that."

"A tranquilidade é o ponto forte. Fica afastado de qualquer localidade por isso é excelente para descansar. O quarto é amplo, tem uma pequena área comum e um pequeno almoço simples mas agradável e completo. A zona da piscina é muito agradável."

"The Hotel is in Costa Vicentina in the Algarve. The room is spotless clean. The bed is confy and clean. The building style is typical eighties/seventies style with a Mourish decor. I think there has been a refurbishement. Very sober and unassuming. There is a big outside swimming pool belonging to the hotel. The location in a Village 7 km of Aljezur. There are two popular restaurants close by as well as mini markets. Arrifana and Monte Clérigo beaches are roughly 5 to 10 minutes by car. The place is very quiet. AC worked very well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is in front of the hotel."

"Very friendly and helpful staff at Check In. We got a free of charge upgrade (instead of a studio) as it was low season. That was highly appreciated. Hot shower. Warm room, which we enjoyed as it was cold and windy outside. Lots of space. Supermarket close by."

"The best thing about the Apartamentos Turísticos Atlantida aparthotel isn't just its central location and the genuine friendliness of the front office staff. In my opinion, the main highlight of this hotel's apartments is the eco-friendly interior: 70% of it is made of natural wood! And while the furniture and floors in the apartments aren't new and even have some wear and tear, the wood used hasn't lost its value for the health of the people who live there, as natural wood creates a positive energy within the Apartamentos Turísticos Atlantida. After all, "all that glitters is not gold...""
