"점수를 더 못주는게 아쉬울 정도로 만족스러웠던 숙소. 주인 할머니가 정말 친절하시고 숙소를 깨끗하게 관리하고 계심. 체크인 장소는 입구로 들어가서 지하 2층으로 가면 되고 (신트라 역 부근이 경사에 지어진 곳이라 건물 기준으로는 그라운드 플로어), 거기에서 짐도 맡아주심. 욕실과 객실이 청결하고 굉장히 따뜻한 분위기. 434번 신트라역 버스 정류장 바로 앞이므로 교통 이용에 너무 편함. 신트라 특성상 역에서 타야 앉아갈 확률 높으며 마을 안쪽으로 갈수록 교통 정체 심각하여 역 부근이 매우 좋은 위치인듯함. 걸어서 신트라 궁이 있는 메인 스트리트까지 10분 정도로 가까움. 아침 식사는 컨티넨탈식인데 엄청 고급스러운 식기로 제공해주시고, 전반적으로 퀄리티 높다고 생각함. 객실 밖에 전용 욕실이라 샤워할때 키를 들고 가야하는 등 번거로울 수 있지만, 욕실 공간은 아주 넓어 안에서 탈의 등 가능함. 어차피 예악할때 알고 있는거고 이만한 가성비를 제공하는 숙소는 없을듯. 위치, 가성비, 객실 분위기와 주인 할머니의 친절함으로 아주 행복한 기억을 가지고 갈 수 있었음."

"신트라역 근처이고 바로 옆에 맛있는 빵집이 있어 좋았어요 제공되는 아침식사도 맛있었네요 숙소에서 헤겔레이아별장까지 충분히 걸어서 갈수있는 거리였어요"

"Maria was lovely. Very welcoming. Breakfast was a real treat. Location right opposite train station. Was allowed to leave bags in room all day on departure day."

"The room was clean and big. The bathroom is outside but it wasn't a problem. The location is perfect. I've really liked the experience."

"The host was very kind and speaks English very well. The location is good. Very close to the train station and the bus stop. You can take a transport to the Palaces simply in front of the door. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was lovely."

"The bathroom is in the hall, not in the room. It's still private though. Its not a big problem for one night stay."

"Good location, in front of the Sintra train station. No noise from the street. Friendly owner of this hotel. Room was clean, every day the floor was cleaned, wastebasket taken out."

"I stayed two nights here. Espaco Edla is in a fantastic location right beside the train station. It was about a 30 minute walk to Pena Palace. The Moorish Castle and Quinta la Regaleira were also only approximately 30 minutes walk away. A couple of minute's walk into the Historical Centre, and about ten minutes into Portela de Sintra. Breakfast was lovely and Maria was so good to give me a packed breakfast as I had to catch a very early train when I was leaving. The bedroom was clean and comfortable."

"I didn't realise the private bathroom was separate to the bedroom - my own fault for not reading properly - it's on the description! There was one other bedroom there that had their own private bathroom too. I had a key to the bedroom, the bathroom, the sitting room, and the outer (hall) door. The only real downside to the accommodation was that it was down a flight of steps from the main street. Anyone who has a problem with their mobility or wouldn't be great with heights, or even if you have a lot of luggage, would need to be aware of this. Also, there was some noise that came through the walls. I could hear the people in the next room and from upstairs too. Thankfully, the nights were fairly quiet."
