"The apartment is located on the hill close to small village of Alentejo. 20min drive from the ocean and Vila Nova de Milfontes. Very quiet location where you can relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. Clean room with very nice pastoral view of the surrounding area. A little windy in the evenings, but it was not a problem for us. We enjoyed very much everyday breakfast in the patio. Carlos is very kind and helpful always ready to advise what to visit or recomment good restaurants. Excellet place to spend slow holidays. Hope to be back there!"

"After travelling through all Portugal with my girlfriend, this is by far the best place we have stayed in. The property as well as the surrounding landscapes are breathtaking. We have been please to meet the hosts which are very kind and available at any moment. They also speak perfectly French and English. The room property is impacable and many little distinctions are left to make you feel perfectly comfortable. We can't recommend this place enough, you will have an amazing stay and remember it all your your life."

"We liked that despite some rain and cold weather we were still able to sit under cover, relax and take in the lovely scenery. This location is also perfect for exploring Vila Nova de Milfontes and the surrounding coast line."

"Peaceful location surrounded by fields and trees. Comfortable bed, good shower and effective heating. Good breakfast, though not exceptional. Close (by car) to São Luis for restaurants - we especially liked Espaço Nativo which served an excellent veggie moussaka. Guest kitchen means you can prepare something simple (we brought soup), so given the included generous breakfast, we just ate out for lunch. Our host kindly allowed us to use an outdoor power socket to charge our EV overnight which was great, given public charging is some distance away and expensive. Overall, a relaxing stay and would go back."

"The bedroom mini-fridge did make a noticeable noise. We visited in November and the bathroom was cold, so the towels didn't really dry - though there was good heating in the bedroom. The fields were being ploughed, so had the background noise of a tractor, but we were just unlucky. We took a walk via a track to a viewpoint on the hill, which was nice but spoiled by the plethora of extremely loud dogs while approaching São Luis - they were behind fences but very aggressive."

"Relaxing cosy traditional place at top of hill with nice views. Host was friendly and had good recommendations for the area, breakfast was good and the friendly dogs were a bonus! Bed was quite comfy , room included mini fridge and working a/c and there was even a shared kitchen and fridge where you could prepare meals. This worked out very well as the monte is a bit of a drive from nearby restaurants and has far better sunset views!"

"The dirt road going up to the monte is quite steep and rough. Make sure to drive in from road to the south of the monte as the other access track is worse."
