Located in a small bay of the Azorean island of Pico, the design Pocinhobay offers individually decorated rooms facing Faial Island. It is located a 10-minute drive from Madalena village. Each room features a unique style combining rustic elements with a modern design. Apart from exposed stone walls and wood ceilings, rooms also come with hypoallergenic pillows and duvets. Free Wi-Fi access is included. A buffet breakfast is served daily and guests can find restaurants within 10 km, serving fresh seafood and typical cuisine. Staff at Pocinhobay can organise diving and fishing activities on an Atlantic beach, 20 metres away. Pico Island offers the perfect scenery to enjoy bird and whale watching. The pool area is stunning with a great ocean view and there is plenty of space to lounge and enjoy the view, even on a rainy day. We loved it and would definitely come back to this unique and wonderful place. The nespresso coffee was not included in the original offering but was kindly offered by the owners to us."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
