"Tongan Beach resort is very isolated and great if you don't want to be found. The team there are fabulous, and the food is first class"
"The Resort is very isolated, and expensive to go anywhere. You are actually quite captive. Off season is not the time to go here. There are very few options for activities outside the resort. Apart from an island tour which is well worth doing, you are really confined to barracks, book reading (no TVs) and waiting for sunset drinks. Yes, there is some good snorkelling, swimming and kayaking, but that's it. No TV's or DVD library, no games as such. So, it's an awfully long way to go, and very expensive for just this. Unless of course that's what you're looking for."

"We have stayed a lot of great places and met many awesome people around the world. This resort is truly SPECIAL. If you’re coming to swim with the humpbacks, plan it with the resort which far exceeded our expectations from what we read on Trip Advisor. The whole staff and owners were amazing. The food was always Incredible. The views were absolutely beautiful. We saw whales at our dinner table upon arrival! We loved everything about this resort and plan to return with friends! "A gorgeous Fale with two big comfy beds and fly nets which was a great addition with big fans on the roof. Gated property with the owner living next door - very handy for questions. At dusk big flying foxes (fruit bats) fly over head and light up the sky with Batman symbols. It’s really cool."

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"
