"Dinner foods were enough but breakfast need to be better - no butter and jams for bread. Adjustable temp Bed warmer was provide to fight the cold - a plus point."

Only thing was that we had to throw our toilet paper after use in a bin instead of directly into the toilet bowl because of the sewage pipes (which i understand is a common problem in Cingjing and in Taiwan in general). "I want to first start off by saying that the stay was good, and most things went smoothly, as echoed by many other comments I read here. But I thought for very long and decided I just want to point out something. The host shows me a very clear example of ‘nice’ vs ‘kind’. Unfortunately he falls into the former category and I will explain why (slightly long read). He was ‘nice’: Yes, he was very warm and hospitable, pouring tea for you, smiling all the time, aaking if you are ok etc. To me, these showed he is nice and hospitable and I do appreciate all these. But being kind is different, really thinking in the best interests of the guest even if it inconveniences you. For context, I agreed to make compromises for certain things, such as waking up for an earlier breakfast so that I match the other guests timing (so that he only had to prepare it once). I also agreed to check out earlier so that the staff can have more time to clean the rooms. To clarify, these things were not explicitly requested by the host, but I totally didnt mind and readily accepted to do them when the discussions came about. But, my gut feeling told me all along that there was something i need to be wary of. It just seemed to me that when talking about certain things, the host would subtly push me into making certain decisions that may benefit him. It seemed like he raised certain things in order to have it his way. And indeed, it was proven (read on). After I checked out, I went to cingqing farm and came back 10am. I nicely requested to use back my same room because my stomach hurt a lot and their public toilet they had on the ground floor is quite dirty so it would be much more convenient to use a room, especially with all the winter wear. The host declined, saying the room is already cleaned. Now, I want to explain why I am upset over this. 1. I made compromises and I think he could too."

"super friendly host, very hospitable. and xiaohua is so cute. attentive staff. breakfast was nice. can see stars at the terrace if skies are clear. near green green grass land! host will give advice on where to go and what to do. heater blanket was a life-saver! very value for money :)"
