"The room was spacious with ample cupboard space and a large bathroom. Joey was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and neat. It was a work trip and I loved the ample access to two pin plugs around the room. I was very grateful for the rusks😃"

"Parking is a little tight. It wasnt a problem on tje firdt night. But on the second day, one person parked in the middle on the left making it very difficult to fit another next to him."

"I stayed in the garden cottage, Clavia. It was fully-equipped, private and quiet with a shaded terrace with table, chairs and sun lounger. There are full cooking facilities, air con and a washing machine - and a good-sized pool you can use. It's close enough to town to be able to walk. I strolled over the river to the beautiful Rupert Museum art gallery (which has an excellent cafe). A really lovely place to stay."

"Nothing. The WiFi signal could be stronger, but, hey, it was good enough. I'd have preferred a double bed to twins, but it didn't matter as I was alone. If I'd been with my partner, I'd have wanted a double for sure."

"Everything was excellent! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a cosy, calm atmosphere. We truly felt comfortable and at home. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Joy is a lovely and kind lady—we were very happy to have met her."

"The staff was very helpful, room spotless, bed very comfortable, the outdoor area was lovely, pool very inviting. Fridge and microwave, nice set of crockery, quiet aircon. I had everything that I need."

"Beautiful view and room, very clean and comfortable beds. Saw one springbok and many beautiful birds. The premises also has its own small hiking trail. Unfortunately we were not lucky with the weather"

"Very friendly and welcoming place, the owner and staff are very nice and helpful. We always enjoyed staying a while at the calm pool after a day out. It’s a short walk to the beach, a supermarket is nearby. You can actually even take the train to the cbd. The sea is a little warmer than at the ocean side beaches and protected against sharks and waves, so it’s very inviting to swim. Breakfast was freshly cooked and awesome."

"Needles is an excellent lodge in every way - helpful, friendly staff and the owners make a point of meeting everyone and enjoy the evening meal with all guests. Marloth Park is a great venue just outside the Kruger NP Gate and there are walks and hides opposite the Park with no worry about lions or dangerous animals. Birding is very good from hides and most stock animals walk freely among the area. ."
