"Fantastic place! The rooms are big and beautifully designed. There is wonderful outdoor seating right by the river, and breakfast is served on the terrace surrounded by birds – a true paradise for nature lovers. Pure relaxation! The hosts are incredibly kind. Manuel, who served breakfast, also took us on a canoe trip, which was a wonderful experience in stunning nature. The location is perfect if you’re looking for tranquility, yet it’s only about eight minutes from the center of Plettenberg Bay. We even extended our stay by one night (we would have stayed longer if our travel plans allowed it). Highly recommended!"

"I booked the stay for my elderly parents. They have told me so many lovely things about the property: the setting along the Bitou estuary, the bedrooms, the views and the hosts who were exceptionally attentive and caring and friendly. They even booked a restaurant for my folks that was wheelchair friendly. My dad raved about the breakfasts, saying they were better than breakfasts he has had in 5-star hotels all over the world. My mom loved the tranquility and sounds of nature. Thank you so much for making my parents' stay so special."

"The staff was very friendly, we felt warmly welcomed, they also brought us gluten free rusks. The place is beautiful, and it is a nice spot to relax and be in nature. The breakfast was delicious, although for the price, there could have been better options."

"The swimming pool was dirty. Also, the view of the river was not that great compared to the photos, as it needs some clearing up work. We were expecting a nicer view of the river. Regarding the price, it is a bit higher for the value that they offer."

"The rooms a lovey, with a fantastic private patio area which looks out onto the river. The mornings in the garden were great and Manny does a superb at preparing a special breakfast every morning. Highly recommended.."

"When we arrived, we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome from our host Kerry. Our overall stay was outstanding, each day started with a beautiful breakfast prepared by Manny. Manny was an absolute gem, he was on hand to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible which he achieved with question."
