"This guesthouse run by Joe and his team in the middle of Sea Point on High Level Road is an hidden gem. The location, the decor, the pool area not to mention the rooms have an understated, quiet yet elegant Afro-chic inspired ambience that lures you inland keeps you fascinated. Joe and Lebo are exceptional hosts and service oriented. Friendly, competent, charming but discreet. The rooms are beautifully decorated with superb fittings that make you want to go home and copy-paste the design. The location is brilliant: walk it, Uber it, go with the MyCiti Bus. And if you know Sea Point, you will appreciate the location and setting. If quiet and peaceful yet elegant understated charm is your thing, I recommend Mountview from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Joe and Lebo for sharing your beautiful home with us and making us feel valued in this wonderful part of Cape Town."

"Mountview is a very stylish guest house with a welcoming, bright and relaxed atmosphere. My room was immaculate with a large comfortable bed and stunning en-suite shower room. The outdoor space is a little tight but has a small pool and some nice outside seating areas. Easy access to lots of restaurants and cafes. Walking distance to the waterfront and lovely nearby beaches."
