Housed in a historic building in the centre of Melnik, the Mario Complex features a traditional Bulgarian inn with a tavern and a supermarket. The property consists of 2 buildings located 100 metres away from each other - Complex Mario and Hotel Mario. All air-conditioned rooms at the Hotel Mario have a private bathroom, a satellite TV and a fridge. Most offer panoramic views of the famous Sandstone Pyramides of Melnik. The hotel features a small outdoor swimming pool and an outdoor equipped kitchen with barbecue. Trips to the Rojenski Monastery can be organized by the hotel.

"Excellent location for staying in Melnik. We recommend the local wine, particularly the Melnik 55. Our room had a pleasant terrace. Good shop underneath with better value wine than elsewhere in the village. There are good breakfast options, although not included in price of room."

"I loved the location, it was comfortable. We had a balcony which was very nice, bathroom was not separated from the toilet but it wasn’t a problem. AC was very quiet so it wasn’t disturbing, I only noticed some tiny little dust/hair on a floor/carpet but that would clean only a vacuum cleaner so it wasn’t bad."

"The hotel is right in the middle of the village with a nice view of the town from the balcony. The owner doesn't speak English but she was lovely in accommodating us."

"Location is perfect for a stay in Melnik. Near some great restaurants. Rooms are cheap and you get what you pay for. You can also park your car right next to the building."
"If you put the address to a map it shows the location wrong. Also shower is right next to the toilet so when you take a shower the whole bathroom gets wet."
"The best choice in Melnik. Very nice, clean hotel in the center of the village. The lady is marvelous., ready to help you anytime. The food at the restaurant was extremely beautiful. ( Don t forget to order onion rings). Strongly recommended.We will return...."
