"The building is gorgeous and I love the morning with birds chirping happily. We strolled along the lake too. Doris was very kind to arrange to pick us to/ from the station. It was not inclusive. But we enjoyed the walk to/from the station daily (without the luggage of course. ;)). ) The room was simple but comfortable. I like the sink in the room is good for easy wash up in the morning n night. I love the breakfast. Assorted bread,cheese，fruits etc Maggie and Joshua are very friendly and helpful . They are both very Hard working too. Joshua is young and cheerful. Maggie is a pretty lady. We passed by by the kitchen which is kept clean. They all seem to help in the kitchen. Doris is lucky to have such good staffs. If we come back, we'll like to stay here again."

"It may take a little extra time to Zurich or Lucerne, but it's quite convenient. We could have stayed longer."

"The hostel is really good and beautiful. The staff is very very nice. We were late to check in, but they left the keys for us, and were very quick to respond. The breakfast was simple but delicious, all the products were of very good quality."

"1) We were travelling around Europe, and the price was higher than in similar places in France or Italy, but somehow everything is more expensive in Switzerland, so I guess it's OK. 2) It's not actually a fault of the hostel, but we were awakened in 6.30 by children screaming bloody murder and couldn't get any sleep after. There was a family of like four children staying at the hostel, and the parents couldn't manage their kids who were running and screaming all around the place since early morning. What I would suggest is to remind families with children that people come here to get some rest and that it is their responsibility to keep children quiet during the night and early morning. 3) Another thing is it would be great to have towels included in the usual bedsheets+towels combo. In some hostels, towels have recently become a separate paid service, and it's unfortunate."

"Der direkte Zugang zum Badesee und die unglaublich nette Herbergsmutter. Das Essen war überaus reichhaltig und lecker. Preis Leistung für Schweizer Verhältnisse sehr gut!!!!"

"Tolle Unterkunft, hervorragende Lage, preiswertes Essen und super Frühstück. Bin schon zum 2. Mal da gewesen und komme gerne wieder 👍"

"Frühstück war abwechslungsreich gut und das Birchermüsli lecker. Zimmer mit Bett und Schrank. War genügend groß. Fahrräder kann man vor dem Haus unterm Dach abstellen. Sauberkeit war gut. Personal war sehr freundlich."

"Es ist ein Youth Hostel und genau so ist auch die Ausstattung, dessen sollte man sich vorher einfach bewusst sein. Wer mit einfachen Verhältnissen, dem selbst beziehen der Betten und Gemeinschaftstoiletten zurecht kommt kann hier eine schöne Zeit genießen. Das Youth Hostel hat einen direkten Zugang zum angrenzenden Sportplatz und Freibad. Dieses kann somit auch außerhalb der regulären Öffnungszeiten genutzt werden. Das allein ist bereits ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt, uns wurde alles in Ruhe erklärt und gezeigt. Auf dem Gelände standen verschiedene Spielgeräte für Kinder zur Verfügung. Im Ort gibt es ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft. Für uns war dies für ein Abendessen ausreichend. Zum Frühstück gab es verschiedene Sorten Brot, Wurst, Käse, Müsli. Unserer Meinung eine ausreichende Auswahl."
