"A very well decorated and clean apartment only 590mt downhill from train station . Yes there is a hill to walk up to station but amazing views and large private garden make up for that. Very friendly hosts and great base."

"The apartment was clean, spacious, and well equipped. There is a large outside area with grass, a covered porch, and lots of seating, with a great view. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat in a few times during our stay. Ruth was friendly and ensured we were enjoying our stay. It is in a great, quiet location, and we felt right at home."
"A plusher bathroom towel would elevate the comfort of the stay. Personally I would have liked a firmer pillow. Do not let these minor things stop you from booking here!"

"The amazing views of the mountains and nearby waterfalls from Chalet Protea were such a highlight. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming, and the place was perfect for our time in Wengen. It was very easy to feel at home and the chalet was well stocked with cooking utensils, oil/seasonings, etc. to allow for home-cooked meals as well. We were able to complete a load of laundry (with dryer) for 5 euros which was convenient too. We wished we could stay longer and we would love to come back, and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the Jungfrau region."

"Plenty of room with a decent sized and well equipped kitchen to cook meals, and the views of the surrounding mountains and Lauterbrunnen valley were incredible. Was also very warm and quiet, so easy to relax if cold outside and get a good night's sleep."
