"We were warmly welcomed into this charming hotel (in the same ownership for four generations) by helpful staff who ensured that all our needs were looked after. Our motorcycle was housed in the adjoining garage, our bedroom was large, bright and airy, spotlessly clean and comfortable. With bar and restaurant facilities also available, we highly recommend Albergo Defanti."

"I booked this hotel as it is close to the Gotthard tunnel and allowed me an early start the next morning. Staff is exceptional, welcome for dogs is amazing and food is great. The hotel itself is decent. Come into age but well maintained and clean. Good value for money. Easy to walk the dog at night or in the morning."

"Just everything about this hotel offers a charm which, more and more, is becoming lost whilst still providing all mod cons. Loved it. The staff were particularly friendly; breakfast copious! If we weren't looking for a different route home we would certainly return."

"Excellent and friendly family-run hotel and restaurant. Comfy beds, fine restaurant at good prices, enough parking (no EV) and room is very clean. Good breakfast in the morning with fresh brewed coffee and daily fresh products."
