Located in the centre of Neuchâtel, Hôtel de l’Ecluse is only 300 metres from the shores of Lake Neuchâtel. Guests enjoy breakfast either in the new breakfast room or in the patio in the shade of a fig tree. Free WiFi is provided. The rooms are individually decorated with a romantic, smart or colourful theme. All rooms come with flat-screen cable TV and a minibar, an some have a kitchenette which can be used on request. The private bathrooms have a shower and hairdryer. South-facing rooms offer view of the Neuchatel Castle, while north-facing rooms overlook the courtyard with its garden. Two public underground parking garages are nearby, and one of them offers direct access to the Hôtel de l'Ecluse. Charges are applicable. Within easy reach of public transportation, Hôtel de l’Ecluse is only a 2-minute walk from several restaurants, the centre and shopping facilities. "Having a kitchenette was very useful, given how expensive it is to eat out in Switzerland (it would have been better to have at least some kitchenware already in the room rather than get it all from the reception). The location is very convenient to the old town. The receptionists were nice and helpful."
"The floor in the room was very dirty, to the point that we had to throw out our slippers afterwards. The walls/doors are thin, we could hear every time a neighbour would come or go."

"Very cozy hotel. It is located at a walking distance from the railway station (I would say ten-fifteen minutes). Anyway, the bus stop is not far (one-two minute walking). The city centre begins immediately after the street, even if the core part is at five minute walking. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. Rooms are accessible by stairs and elevator. I did appreciate the view on the castle, the light, the new furniture, and, above all, the cleanness. There is a buffet continental breakfast, with an automatic coffea-cappuccino-chocolate machine. I would only suggest a couple of further sweet options (cakes), but this is not a complaint (just a suggestion). I would definetely choose this hotel for future stayings. Congratulations to the whole staff!"

"체크인 시간 전 짐 맡기기 : 리셉션에서 직접 맡겨주십니다. 엘레베이터 여부 : 리셉션이 있는 층까지는 계단 올라가야합니다. 객실 갈 때는 엘레베이터(유럽식) 사용 가능합니다. 다만 조금 좁습니다. 객실 : 6인실 2층 사용했습니다. 침대에 커텐 있습니다. 숙소 방 내부에 변기와 세면대 있습니다. 수건 교체 가능합니다. 객실 안에 라커 있는데, 큰 백팩(군대 백팩 아시죠) 널널하게 잘 들어갑니다. 샤워: 샤워는 객실 밖에 있습니다. 기본적으로 남녀공용인데 3층에 여성전용도 있습니다. 세면대 있고, 샤워실 크기와 청결도 좋습니다. 주방: 인덕션 없고 전자레인지가 있습니다. 냉장고에 태그해서 넣어두시면 됩니다. 리빙룸이라 사람들과 대화하기 좋습니다. 위치: 좋습니다. 얼마 안 되는 거리에 많은 노선의 버스와 트램도 다니고, 취리히중앙역과 바로 연결되는 슈텔데호펜역이 있고 다양한 S반들이 다녀서 이동성 좋습니다. 역 근처다보니 마트도 많습니다. 아 그리고 물론 치안도 최고입니다. 기타: 샤워실 옆에 화장실이 하나 더 있습니다. 세탁은 13프랑였나? 암튼 그정도 주면 건조까지 다 해주시고 제 객실 침대 옆에까지 놔주십니다. 건물 문이 특정 시간 이후에는 잠깁니다. 당황하지 마시고 바로 옆에 있는 바에 가서 객실 키 보여주시면 입구를 알려주십니다. 아 그리고 3박 이상인가 묵으면 리셉션에서 이쁜 수달 티셔츠를 줍니다. 잘 입고 다니는 중"
