Situated just 10 km from Basel city centre, the family-run Hotel Eremitage offers rooms with a coffee machine, an en-suite bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Its restaurant serves cordon bleu specialities. All rooms at Eremitage Hotel have a seating area, a safety deposit box, a minibar, a telephone and a flat-screen TV. Each bathroom is equipped with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Buffet breakfast is also available at the hotel’s restaurant. The Studios are NOT at the hotel but in a nearby building 50 meters away. The room cleaning is made 1 time per week. Only available and recommended for long stays. There is also a large balcony, a garden and free private parking at Hotel Eremitage. From 2018 onwards, to ensure the best possible sleep, all rooms will have box-spring beds with mattresses with 2 different degrees of hardness. The nearest tram stop Arlesheim Dorf is only 30 metres away and it connects Arlesheim with Basel city centre in just 20 minutes.

"방이 청결하고 침대가 편안하였다. 스위스 호텔답게 관리가 잘 되어있었고 아침 식사도 좋았다, 예약을 하니 호텔에서 Basel Visitorcard를 무상으로 다운로드 받는 링크를 보내주어서 이 모바일 카드를 이용했는데 바젤의 버스와 트램 등을 무료로 이용할 수 있어서 편리했다. 트램 역이 호텔 바로 옆에 있어서 시내 관광하기 아주 편했다. 호텔 빌딩 주차장은 20 CHF 이었는데, 체크아웃 후에도 시내 관광을 대중교통으로 마치고 돌아올 때까지 주차할 수 있게 해 주어서 좋았다."

"Very friendly personnel. Right next to the train station. Our room rate included a free use of the public transport in the Basel Area, this was super convenient ! We used the train to and from Basel several times a day and it was all free ! Big thumbs up for this service ! Breakfast was plenty and good. The restaurant was also very good and there is a small, but nice patio. There is also a supermarket downstairs in the same building. Very convenient if you need some shopping items and don't have to carry them a long way."

"We had a wonderfully warm welcome, so helpful with instructions of how to get around the city and recommendations of things to do. We were there for an event and the host was very helpful in telling us how to get around using the tram (but also recommended walks too). The room was a nice temperature, comfy, clean, really enjoyed it! Breakfast was a lovely continental selection. Location was excellent for the tram and links into Basel. Really quiet and nice neighbourhood. Absolutely would stay here again when visiting Basel. Parking was really useful too!"
