The Hotel Kernen is located close to the Schönried train station, about 5 km from Gstaad, and offers rooms with balconies, gourmet food and free Wi-Fi. All rooms are rustically but elegantly furnished, and most have a balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. You can use the swimming pools and the spa area of the neighbouring hotel at a reduced rate. The 18-hole golf course of Gstaad is only a 10-minute drive from the hotel. As a hotel guest you will receive a green fee discount of 10%. The Horneggli and Rellerli cable cars are only a few minutes' walk away from the Kernen hotel. The Hotel Kernen is an ideal starting point to the hiking paths and mountain bike trails, as well as the ski slopes and cross-country ski runs of the Gstaad-Saanenland region.

"Disappointed that we didn't get a room with a balcony. Traffic was noisy at times."
"Staff were amazing and so friendly. Breakfast and eating area was so cozy and friendly each morning with newspapers there. It’s very close to Alpine Express train stop (but you don’t hear or see it). If you want a hotel with an alive and cozy “vibe” to stay in during the ski season, this is it."

"You can feel the love for hospitality when you enter Hotel Kernen. Hospitality and service are highly valued. The restaurant is absolutely worth recommending. The location in the center of Schönried and right next to the MOB or Horneggli cable car is more than amazing! We will definitely come back"

"I loved the place and every minute I spent there. It easily accessible, as it's 1 minute away from the train station. I loved the terrace where I could sit and enjoy a drink in the evening after dinner. There is a nice lounge where I could work the full day, before I started my weekend. The breakfast is not extremely diverse, but it was more than enough and very good quality."

"체크인 시간 전 짐 맡기기 : 리셉션에서 직접 맡겨주십니다. 엘레베이터 여부 : 리셉션이 있는 층까지는 계단 올라가야합니다. 객실 갈 때는 엘레베이터(유럽식) 사용 가능합니다. 다만 조금 좁습니다. 객실 : 6인실 2층 사용했습니다. 침대에 커텐 있습니다. 숙소 방 내부에 변기와 세면대 있습니다. 수건 교체 가능합니다. 객실 안에 라커 있는데, 큰 백팩(군대 백팩 아시죠) 널널하게 잘 들어갑니다. 샤워: 샤워는 객실 밖에 있습니다. 기본적으로 남녀공용인데 3층에 여성전용도 있습니다. 세면대 있고, 샤워실 크기와 청결도 좋습니다. 주방: 인덕션 없고 전자레인지가 있습니다. 냉장고에 태그해서 넣어두시면 됩니다. 리빙룸이라 사람들과 대화하기 좋습니다. 위치: 좋습니다. 얼마 안 되는 거리에 많은 노선의 버스와 트램도 다니고, 취리히중앙역과 바로 연결되는 슈텔데호펜역이 있고 다양한 S반들이 다녀서 이동성 좋습니다. 역 근처다보니 마트도 많습니다. 아 그리고 물론 치안도 최고입니다. 기타: 샤워실 옆에 화장실이 하나 더 있습니다. 세탁은 13프랑였나? 암튼 그정도 주면 건조까지 다 해주시고 제 객실 침대 옆에까지 놔주십니다. 건물 문이 특정 시간 이후에는 잠깁니다. 당황하지 마시고 바로 옆에 있는 바에 가서 객실 키 보여주시면 입구를 알려주십니다. 아 그리고 3박 이상인가 묵으면 리셉션에서 이쁜 수달 티셔츠를 줍니다. 잘 입고 다니는 중"
