Hotel Stadthaus

"Don’t judge too harshly for the lack of air conditioning - in such historic buildings, getting permits is extremely difficult. Everything is arranged to the highest standard, and breakfast is excellent - served in a restaurant that once held a Michelin star. + There are so many lovely little touches, like complimentary drinks in the fridge. The town itself is charming and full of history. And you’ll be staying just 300 meters from the inner courtyard of Burgdorf Castle, where you can watch the sunset. Highly recommended!"

"Service impeccable. I almost felt like I was being welcomed home. Better to stay here in this lovely hotel and fairytale like village than in Bern!"

"Coffee was good and fresh but could be even better if they had a better machine..."

"Bit of a quirky bedroom design but very spacious and clean and a lovely standalone bathtub. Staff were very helpful and the evening dinner food was also very good."

"Lovely breakfast service, lovely personal, big room, comfortable bed, huge bathroom, quiet in the night..."

"Maybe some furniture a bit old-fashioned, but it fits the context."

"The Building and the rooms are really really nice. You can feel the historic athmosphere. Also the staff was very friendly."

"The Kitchen says it has an Award. Therefore we had some expectations regarding the breakfast: Unfortunately the expectations were not fulfilled. The staff was really nice but the Concept with etagere is just ourdated and the amount was just way too Little for two persons. Please, rather do a nice buffet!"

"Spacious room, and very clean."

"The hotel is very central and in a beautiful historical building. We stayed in a very spacious room, furniture is simple but elegant. The bathroom (also spacious) had a lovely big vintage look bathtube and a shower cabin. The breakfast is served at the table and it is freshly prepared."

"We did not watch it but the TV is quite small, and so is the shower cabin, especially if compared to the size of the bathroom."

"It’s a beautiful house in the middle of the old part of town. The rooms are spacious, the beds big and comfy, the bathroom modern and large. Staff was very friendly, breakfast great."

"Nahhh"

"Excellent location, very nice room, friendly staff, nice breakfast."

"No staff Sunday in attendance on afternoons; room seems to have been prepared for one guest rather than two."
