Typical Ticino-style Pensione Olanda is 1 km from the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage church, and features garden and a terrace, furnished with deckchairs and offering panoramic views of Locarno and Lake Maggiore. Wi-Fi is available in the entire building for free. All rooms are functionally furnished and decorated in a warm Mediterranean character. Some units come with a private shower and shared toilets, while other units have all shared bathroom facilities. A vegetarian buffet breakfast is served. In warm and nice weather, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace. The Olanda Pensione is a 15-minute walk from the centre of Locarno and a 25-walk from Lake Maggiore. Golf Gerre Losone is 6 km away. "I didn't want to leave - I could retired here and I'm only 36! I looked forward to waking up every morning to see the beautiful lake and work from the balcony. Also the breakfast, including the avocado cream on fresh white doughy bread was delicious. Thank you very much."

"If you don’t have a car (like me), just be weary of the bus timetable. The property is quite high up, so you could walk up the steep pedestrian path but it isn’t well maintained"

"Really lovely place with many thoughtful touches. My room had a lovely view as did the terrace. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of homemade jams, dips and cake. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back."

"Really friendly and welcoming place. Makes you feel at home. There's a bus stop right in front of the Pensione that goes to the central station, so it's really easy to go back downtown. The place was clean and the breakfast was really good ! The host was really really kind too."

"The view is amazing, the breakfast was incredible with so many nice homemade dishes. Davide & Sabrina, their little dog & cat were great hosts. There is a bus right outside the hotel that takes you into town. In the evening, it is not as frequent but still convenient."
