There was a bit of noise in the surrounding areas but to be expected for its location.

"Kitana Lodge was a wonderful and peaceful place. My wife and I stayed here for only three days, but we truly enjoyed every moment. The host, Nelly, was incredibly kind and friendly, and we loved chatting with her. Even when we felt like having some snacks, like chips or chocolate, she immediately organized them for us she was simply the best and a good friend! The rooms were huge the largest we’ve seen during our one-month trip through Madagascar and they were also very clean. We really miss this place and would love to come back someday. "We have the most fabulous stay at the lodge, which we will not forget. Even before we arrived, the lodge manager was extremely helpful arranging our transfer from Nosy Be. We were greeted by the staff with a fresh coconut and a snorkel kit. We enjoyed our afternoon snorkelling and we even saw a green turtle right in front of the lodge. The room was comfortable and again, the manager was extremely accommodating to all of our requests and arranged our activities. The food was fresh and delicious! There’s not a bad comment I can say about this stay! I am already dreaming of coming back! Thank you for having us!"
