It has a bar, pool and regular social events, popular with solo travelers and groups who want to surf by day and enjoy fun social nights without a full party hostel scene La Posada is located 100 meters from the beach, it is located 4 minutes’ walk from Santa Teresa Beach and 5 km from Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve. It features free WiFi in all areas. The property offers private rooms and shared dorms. Enjoy the pool table after cooking in any meal in the fully equipped shared kitchen. Activities as surf lessons, canopy tours, ATV rental, sport fishing and visits to the Turtle Island can be arranged at this property. This hostel is 25 metres from a bus station and 19 km from Montezuma Town in the Gulf of Nicoya.

"Great location, very social atmosphere. Out of the 4 hostels i stayed during my trip this was the most social. Great clean pool area and weekly event/social schedule"
"Assumed the room had AC. Most did but mine didn't so if you are sensitive to heat make sure to check your room options. Shared bathroom was fine but be aware no hot water. It is hot in Sta Teresa so I didnt mind but worth noting"
"The hostel is well situated, right next to the beach, and you can easily walk there. They organize activities every evening, which makes it easy to meet and connect with other travelers. The staff is friendly. I didn’t use the kitchen, but it seemed fine. The beds are ok, the private shower I had was clean enough, and breakfast is decent—you get three fruits and one pancake."
"It’s not super clean, though acceptable overall. The first night there was no hot water, but it was available the following night."
"The hostel was very good, extremely friendly staff a decent free breakfast, a bathroom with shower in the 6 bed dorm. Very close to the beach literally 2 minutes walk. The hostel had a good size swimming pool. A short walk to the restaurant & bars, shops laundry atm."

"I loved my stay at this hostel :) The energy is amazing here and it is really easy to meet new friends here! Additionally the hostel is super close to the beach and has a great location! I was worried that there would be no AC in my 4-bed mixed dormitory because it is not listed, however they had AC in I think all rooms. There was also a super cute cat that was very entertaining!"

"I\nLike to help clean and comfortable.The beds were and how obviously quiet they were meant to be.And the balcony was amazing addition. I found confusing.Where's the bathrooms had signs on them with specific numbers that seem to be assigned to room that were a little confusing.I'm not sure if there was a room there or if it was another room.It was a confusing sign that said number six or number five , but the bathroom souls probably could use more hooks on the wall , but other than that was great"
