"킬로토아 트레킹 2일차를 끝내고 만난 보석같은 숙소. 현지 가족들이 운영하는 숙소여서 마치 홈스테이를 하는 듯한 따스함을 느낄 수 있다. 번역기 돌려가며 계속 소통하려고 노력하시고, 이것저것 챙겨주려하시고 정말 너무 좋았다. 저녁식사는 정말 에콰도르 사람들이 집에서 먹을 법한 가정식을 해주시는데, 정말 여행을 하면서 먹었던 음식 중에 제일 맛있었다. 하루종일 그렇게 고생해서 배고픈 상태로 달려들었는데도 다 못먹을 정도로 양도 넉넉하게 챙겨주시고 진짜 할머니집 온 듯한 인심을 느꼈다. 괜찮은 가격으로 점심 도시락도 싸주셔서 다음날 너무 맛있게 먹었다. 밥먹고 가족분들이랑 이런저런 이야기 나눴던 건 전체 여행을 통틀어도 행복했던 기억이다."
"킬로토아 트레일에 있는 숙소들의 컨디션이 워낙 번쩍번쩍하다보니, 거기에 비하면 낡은 편이다. 하지만 가격도 거기보다 훨씬 저렴하고, 무엇보다 에콰도르 가족들의 친절함을 느낄 수 있으니 색다른 경험이다. 샤워는 전기 샤워여서 수압을 약하게 틀어야 따뜻한 물이 나오므로, 굳이굳이 콸콸콸 쏟아지는 핫 샤워를 원한다면 피할 것."
"The name might be a little misleading, you are the personal guest of a local family, which will give you a warm welcome and let you have more comfort than they afford themselves. At the family table next to a warm stove I got a wonderful dinner and breakfast with mostly homegrown vegetables from their own fields. Rooms are simple, but clean, have a comfortable matress, very warm sheets and there's a hot shower. It is an honor to be a guest here!"

"The hosts Walter and Maria may be the nicest people in Ecuador. They are so lovely, hardworking, friendly, and helpful. The location is great, just off the trail to Quilotoa so you only need to start walking down hill in the morning. The hostel is very quiet. The food is good with nice big portion sizes. Definitely a good place to stay on the hike!"

"If you are looking for more than a comfy bed and a hot shower, this is the place for you. Maria and her family made us feel very much at home. They even dried our shoes and cloth. Her cooking was delicious. Almost like a home stay."

"I do like absolutely everything about this hostal it is 10/10 without any doubts.i couldnt imagine better welcoming and staying.Walter Maria and the whole family are just exceptional they will accomodate you to a very high standarde and make you feel like a family member.beds pillows are super comfy and douve and 2 blankets keeps you warm on a chilly nights.breakfast and dinner included in price which make the value even better and local food is just delicious.will definitely come back.mucias gracias walter y Maria hasta luego🤗🤗🤗"
