"Lovely 5 night stay in this apartment. Apartment is very well appointed, kitchen has pretty much everything you need for self catering, even down to baking paper, tin foil, and dishwasher tablets as well as washing up liquid. Drying cabinet by the front door was very helpful after days out in the snow, and the washer and drying rack means you don't need to over pack. There isn't a huge amount of counter top space to store stuff but we made do. Great location in town, right next to the S market (literally across the car park), and less than 10 mins walk to zero point. Had one issue with water to the washing machine not being on but someone came out within an hour to sort. Can't fault the service and communication. Would happily stay here again!"

"Location was very peaceful and picturesque. Dog friendly. Air conditioning. Easy in and out. Cooking possibilities and dishwasher."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Oivanki. The accomodation was located in a very spacious and calm area, on the edge of a lake. From the back terrace I saw some reindeer grazing. The room was basic, and I had to put the sheets on the bed myself, but that didn't bother me at all. I can imagine it can get quite busy here when groups of school children come to visit, but as it was, I was one of only two guests in the building at the moment, and everything was very quiet. Breakfast was served in the main building and included some rice porridge, a selection of cereals and muesli and some bread and salad. Just what I needed. The restaurant was closed on saturday, so if you're planning to prepare something yourself, it's best to stock up in Kuusamo before you come here. There are no shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity."
