"The shower leaked, the bathroom door didn't fit properly and had to be forcibly shut to close, clearly an ongoing issue by the scratch marks on the floor. The sink had a hole in the side. Under the bed were old water bottles and labels."

"The room was the size of a shoebox and did not resemble any of the photos displayed on booking.com. The room was at the back of the hotel with a view of rooftops through a small window. The decor of the room was dark blue which added to the overall gloomy feeling. The shower holder was broken as was the soap dispenser, the hot and cold on the shower tap was the wrong way round. This was reported to reception and we were offered a coffee as compensation. Overall 50 % overpriced in comparison to other excellent hotels and accommodation we have stayed in over the past three weeks on our cycle trip."
