"It was really good value for money in the area, the breakfast was nice and filling, egg made fresh, avocado, toast, fruit, coffee and tea. The room was really nice we thought it might be cold but the blankets kept us perfect temperature. Only a 4 minute drive from the bus terminal. The man on reception kindly flagged a tuktuk down for us in the morning to the terminal."

"I have stayed in Happy Garden for a week. Colin and his Parents are absolutely wonderful: welcoming, warm, going an extra mile to help and support. The place is located in great spot - walking distance from Seoul Tower and the metro station. Also, the shops plus affordable bars with excellent local food are very close. Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

Beautiful dark wood colonial style in the bedroom, very cool but for those of us of a certain age a bit too dark

"We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away."

The absence of wi-fi and difficulties getting an internet connection the courtyard and my room was a real inconvenience, only solved by purchasing a local sim and forgetting about my usual roaming arrangement for keeping in touch with family back home.

"Cette maison d'hôtes est charmante. J'ai été à l'aise....comme à la maison. Le jardin est paisible. J'ai apprécié le calme et le personnel qui était au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. J'ai apprécié aussi la proposition d'un chauffeur depuis l'aéroport compris dans le tarif. Il y a un super marché à 300m bien pratique."

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times
