Basically no staff at location, so you may get lost sometimes, especially about room door key operation was a bit tricky.

"Quiet area just off the Main Street. 10mins walk from the beach. Clean, cozy and chill vibes. Conducive environment to interact with other guests as well. Friendly hosts who provided great information on surrounding attractions."

"The place was clean and light, though not too busy given the time of year (March). Most impressive was the host who was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering to help wherever she could. A wonderful addition to my stay in Xingping!"

"We had a wonderful stay. It's a good way to get to know the Uzbek culture, far away from the touristy areas. It's run by a family. Nigina and her girls cooked amazing fresh food every day. Best food we had in whole Uzbekistan especially the Plov, even the guides who stayed there it's one of the best they ever had. Raxmat is an amazing host he helped us with thing from the beginning till the end, with transportation or also with hike tours. The place is good for every type of travellers, there were also some families, solo female travelers etc. For us, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice to disconnect (they have wifi) but we never used it. There is plenty of things to do like hiking etc. We will miss this wonderful place. Thank you again Raxmat and Nigina!"

"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

"체크인 시간 전 짐 맡기기 : 리셉션에서 직접 맡겨주십니다. 엘레베이터 여부 : 리셉션이 있는 층까지는 계단 올라가야합니다. 객실 갈 때는 엘레베이터(유럽식) 사용 가능합니다. 다만 조금 좁습니다. 객실 : 6인실 2층 사용했습니다. 침대에 커텐 있습니다. 숙소 방 내부에 변기와 세면대 있습니다. 수건 교체 가능합니다. 객실 안에 라커 있는데, 큰 백팩(군대 백팩 아시죠) 널널하게 잘 들어갑니다. 샤워: 샤워는 객실 밖에 있습니다. 기본적으로 남녀공용인데 3층에 여성전용도 있습니다. 세면대 있고, 샤워실 크기와 청결도 좋습니다. 주방: 인덕션 없고 전자레인지가 있습니다. 냉장고에 태그해서 넣어두시면 됩니다. 리빙룸이라 사람들과 대화하기 좋습니다. 위치: 좋습니다. 얼마 안 되는 거리에 많은 노선의 버스와 트램도 다니고, 취리히중앙역과 바로 연결되는 슈텔데호펜역이 있고 다양한 S반들이 다녀서 이동성 좋습니다. 역 근처다보니 마트도 많습니다. 아 그리고 물론 치안도 최고입니다. 기타: 샤워실 옆에 화장실이 하나 더 있습니다. 세탁은 13프랑였나? 암튼 그정도 주면 건조까지 다 해주시고 제 객실 침대 옆에까지 놔주십니다. 건물 문이 특정 시간 이후에는 잠깁니다. 당황하지 마시고 바로 옆에 있는 바에 가서 객실 키 보여주시면 입구를 알려주십니다. 아 그리고 3박 이상인가 묵으면 리셉션에서 이쁜 수달 티셔츠를 줍니다. 잘 입고 다니는 중"

사실 전반적으로 매우 만족하였습니다. 굳이 꼽아보자면 객실 : 2월 중순 기준으로 문을 닫아도 조금 추웠습니다. 요청하면 될 문제일 겁니다. 다만 그러지 못한 이유는, 룸메이트가 덥다고 창문까지 열고 자서... 나갈 때까지 패딩 입고 잤습니다(...) 기타 : 메인 도어 언제부터 닫는지에 대한 시간이 표시되어 있으면 좋겠고, 해결법이 명시되어 있으면 좋겠습니다. 밤에 담배피러 나갔다가 당황쓰.

"Very chilled hostel, small and compact. Very clean with constant cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen. 10 min walk to castle and coast."

Dorms are by the main road and very noisy with traffic so hard to sleep. Creaky floorboards also.

"버스터미널과 국경 중간이라 위치도 너무 좋고, 주인 아주머니 아저씨가 너무너무 친절하셔서 편하게 있다가요! 아침 일찍 조식 부탁드렸는데 시간 맞춰해주시고, 카페도 함께 운영하는지 커피머신이 있는데 직접 내려주세요! 시골 할머니댁 하루 신세지고 가는 기분이었습니다ㅎㅎ"

"국영백화점까지 15분이면 충분합니다. 시내의 주요 관광지를 걸어서 다니는 데 아무 어려움이 앖었구요, 다니다가 힘들면 낮에 잠깐 들어와서 쉬기도 했어요. 조식은 달걀과 빵, 버터 등을 준비해주고 숙박객이 직접 해 먹는 방식인데, 주변에 조식 세트를 파는 카페들도 있어서 달걀후라이만 야식으로 해 먹었습니다. 냉장고, 조리 기구가 다 갖취진 주방과 넓은 거실이 공용 공간으로 있구요, 화장실과 욕실이 분리되어 있어요. 아파트 4층에 숙소가 있는데, 겉에서 보면 허름해보이지만, 숙소 안은 아늑하고 편안한 분위기입니다. 새것은 아니지만 깨끗하게 관리되고 있어요. 사진에 올라와있는 그대로의 모습입니다. 주인분이 친절하셔서 언어가 안 통해도 별로 불편함은 없었어요. 번역기 통해서 영어로 의사소통했구요, 나중에는 챗지피티로 몽골어와 영어 함께 번역해서 제시했아요."

숙소의 특성상, 여러 무리가 함께 쓰게 되는데... 그게 변수입니다. 제 경우는 마지막날 새벽6시 정도에 최소 8명 이상으로 구성된 한 팀이 들어왔는데... 남의 방문을 벌컥 열어보고, 음식 해 먹으며 떠들고, 짐을 공용 공간에 어질러놓고.... 체크아웃인 걸 천만다행으로 생각하게 해 줬네요. 숙소 자체에 대한 불만은 없지만, 숙소에서의 경험은 복불복일 수도 있을 것 같아요.

- would have been great if there were a kettle for guests' use. Needed some hot water to soothe my stomach and had to ask the staff to boil a cup for me.

The tap at the kitchen is likking while open. Somw floor tales must be fixed. One of the light bulbs needs replacement.

"(한국인 리뷰입니다) 시설은 5명이 공유하는 쉐어 숙소 느낌입니다. 주인장님께서도 굉장히 친절하시고 숙소 시설에 대한 피드백이 빨라서 좋았음. 숙소가격 대비 시설이나 화장실도 괜찮은 편입니다. (물론 게스트하우스 특징상 공유 화장실 입니다)"

메디나 중심부 (안나바위 모스크)와 거리가 좀 떨어져 있어서 택시로만 이동된다는 점에서 위치가 아쉬움. 근처에 버스 정류장이 있긴한데 메디나는 버스App로만 탑승 가능한데, 한국로밍유심은 어플 접속조차 안됨. 호텔 시설 자체는 딱 가격만큼 함.

방음이 안되는 점

"평화롭고 여유로운 분위기를 만끽할 수 있었어요. 방과 화장실 모두 청결했고 식사도 만족스러웠어요."

미끄롤렛을 타야만 들어갈 수 있었고 나올 때 미끄롤렛을 기다리는 시간을 여유있게 비워둬야 해요. 선풍기밖에 없어서 조금 더울 수 있지만 큰 문제가 되지는 않아요.
