Set in the historic square of Piazza Monteoliveto, this B&B is in the heart of Naples. It offers elegant rooms, each with a balcony, free Wi-Fi and either wood floors or 17th century brick floors. Monteoliveto Bed & Breakfast is halfway between the famous squares of Piazza del Gesù Nuovo and Piazza Carità. It is a 10-minute walk from Naples Harbour and is great for visiting the city's ancient monuments and shops. Breakfast includes homemade cakes, croissants and hot and cold drinks. Guests can relax in the lounge and have free use of the shared kitchen. The owners provide a friendly service, and will appreciate if you communicate your arrival time. B&B Monteoliveto is 5 minutes' walk from Dante Metro Station. Buses stop right outside. The Santa Chiara Religious Complex and the Music Conservatory are 5 minutes away on foot.

"The flat was beautiful. Nicely furnished, very clean, good air con, and I adored having the washing machine! As a solo traveller it was definitely a luxury expense, but for a group or family it would be really exceptional value. For food, I would recommend the nearby Pizzeria La Campagnola! Cheap, delicious and traditional margarita. Transport to the main station was excellent - right next to the metro, and only 1 stop to Napoli Garibaldi. Host was very good at communicating over whatsapp."
"The street outside is very dirty, piles of trash, and felt a little unsafe. But that's a lot of naples and not really the fault of the accommodation. I didn't realise the booking didnt include the tourist tax, so I had to pay an extra €9 in cash on arrival. I think that's pretty standard, but it put me in a bad mood as I'd been pickpocketed earlier that day and my cash reserves were low!"
"The apartment is located close to all the important areas or very quickly reachable both on foot and by metro (there are 2 metro stations 1-2 minutes walk away). For us it was absolutely wonderful time spent in Napoli, and if we come back, we would definitely stay here again. Federica was super friendly and recommended restaurants where we could try authentic Neapolitan food and they had amazing food."

"Great location in a historic building. There is a laundry right opposite and an ATM. Around the corner is a supermarket. You are on a road that basically separates the Royal and old quarters of the city. The property itself is a delightful apartment with real character. Angelo the owner is a real gentleman who showed immense patience with my limited Italian. There was (for us at least) a big breakfast. 2 pastries each, yoghurt and ham and cheeses. We didn’t often need lunch as a result. Italians don’t generally go for a big breakfast so that was a surprise."

"Gigi is a fantastic and very accommodating host, there was some confusion during the booking process but he was very professional about it and we resolved it quickly and successfully. The apartment was perfect for my stay, clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home. I was able to rest, do my laundry and explore Naples from a great walkable location."
