"베이루트 북부 여행시 접근하기 좋은 위치에 있습니다. 제이타 동굴이 걸어서 다녀올 수 있는 위치에 있고 주변에 훌륭한 트레킹 코스들이 있습니다. 베이루트에서 15키로 여 떨어져 있어 한적하고 여유가 있으며 툭 트여 있어 갑갑하지 않고 시원스럽고 좋습니다. 공항에서 다소 멀지만 숙박비가 싸고 호스텔에 픽업 요청하여 경제적인 가격으로 쉽게 갈 수 있어 부담이 없었습니다. 여러개의 넓은 휴게실이 있어 편히 쉴 수 있습니다. 실내 수영장이 있어 놀랐습니다. 아직 날씨가 싸늘해 수영은 어렵지만 다인실 이용 손님도 수영장을 이용할 수 있는 듯합니다, 수영장 벽면의 알록달록한 그림이 인상적이었습니다. 다인용 방에는 캡슐형 침대가 있어 독립공간을 사용하는 듯 편했으며, 청결하고 넓고 아주 좋았습니다. 정성스레 손수 차려주는 아침상이 정결하고 깔끔하고 맛있어 아주 기분이 좋았습니다. 주인 부부가 모두 친절하고 주변 여행지 설명도 아주 잘 해 줍니다. 제가 잠을 잔 날 아침은 월요일이라 동굴이 문을 닫아서 구경을 할 수 없었습니다. 아쉽던 차에 주인이 시장에 가며 나를 데려가 주어, 해안을 따라 트리폴리까지 갔다 왔다 하며 멋있는 해안과 눈덮힌 산이 어울리는 경치를 즐길 수 있었고, 재래시장에서 걸레빵 굽는 모습을 보고 커피를 갈아 파는 모습 등 우리와 다른 문화를 구경할 기회를 가졌습니다. 이번엔 하루 일정 방문 이었습니다 만, 너무 고맙고 감사하여 다음에는 며칠 일정으로 묵으며 발벡이나 백향목 계곡을 꼭 구경해 볼 예정입니다. 가 보세요, 좋습니다."

"Damask Rose is simply the best! The atmosphere is incredibly calming and peaceful. The owners, Hicham and Ana, are so kind and welcoming, and everyone else - from the Chef to the entire staff - is wonderful. The Chef is really talented and the food was excellent! I strongly recommend staying there because it’s the perfect place to relax while still being very close to Beirut and other touristic attractions such as Jounieh, Jeita Grotto, the Harissa teleferique, Our Lady of Lebanon, Byblos and Batroun. The space, from the living room to the swimming pool area to the courtyard, is beautifully decorated, colorful, joyful and full of character. I would recommend it to everyone🥰 Perfect for families and couples!"

"The house has a beautiful Mediterranean atmosphere, with sunlight coming through the arches, traditional Lebanese design, airy rooms, and a peaceful ambience that instantly makes you relax. It feels truly authentic, and you can genuinely experience local culture here. The owner was very kind and recommended great local places to visit. People in the area were warm, welcoming, and made me feel at home. I originally booked for two nights and ended up staying for two weeks because I felt so comfortable and connected to the place."

"Damask Rose Guest House was truly one of the best places I’ve stayed throughout all my travels. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the staff made me feel right at home. The food prepared by them was absolutely delicious — genuine, homemade, and full of local flavor. The owner and his family were delightful and went above and beyond, offering invaluable local insight into sightseeing and transport logistics. While it might seem a little outside central Beirut on the map, it’s actually much closer than you’d expect — and the peaceful setting is a welcome escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. Its location is also ideal for exploring, with easy access to the main highway for share taxis heading north and south to places like Batroun and Byblos. I loved my stay so much that I ended up extending it by two extra nights. I can’t recommend Damask Rose enough — a true hidden gem that feels like home in Lebanon."

"It was amazing staying at Damask Rose - it's one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in, and I even ended up extending for one more week. The owners are such great people - kind, hospitable and very knowledgeable about their country, so if you ask them anything, they will surely answer all the questions, and help with organising everything. Also, they provide you with all 3 meals, which are very tasty (and portions are huge, so no option of going around hungry). The whole property is very spacious, has a lot of common areas, so it's easy to find some privacy, or to find a place to hang out with friends (including an outdoor pool!). There was also a very tense situation with other guest, and the owners immediately provided me with help. WiFi was very good! Totally recommend booking!"

"Although at first it may seem that this guesthouse is a bit far from Beirut, it’s actually an excellent base for exploring central and northern Lebanon, even without a car, as well as the mountainous areas. Lebanon is a small country, so you end up almost in the center of everything. During a week without a car or taxi, I was able to visit many places on day trips from here. The host is very friendly and welcoming, the price-quality ratio is perfect, and the breakfasts are excellent (they even make their own cheese and butter!)."

The owners are very friendly and helpful and you have anything you need for short or longer stays including water and a kitchen. The space is large and welcoming. Easy to reach too.
