"The Riad was beautiful. When you walked in there was such a sense of calm and the courtyard, breakfast room and all the facilities were lovely. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful - the decor was fantastic. The location was in the Medina but also a short walk to the Kasbah."

"The room has a bathroom that is separated by a half curtain - while they sent a message mentioning this what was not mentioned is the curtain doesn’t afford complete privacy of the bathroom … I was luckily on my own else it would have been very uncomfortable. The room also has little ventilation which makes this arrangement harder. The person whose contact was given in the booking was rather rude when we called for directions …"

"The absolute best place we’ve stayed in Morocco. Better than the 5* hotels in Europe. La belle indomie was amazing and the staff are so attentive and helpful. Absolutely great breakfast too."

"Lovely, friendly staff. They were very helpful and made our stay a good experience. Very clean, and everything in the room was changed every day. The rooftop terrace is a bonus, and great place to have breakfast!"

"Small hotel of 10 rooms, with large rooms (includes a small fridge), comfortable bed, nice local shower products and very quiet as I did not hear at all the other rooms despite all the rooms being in the same building. The heated swimming pool is a great feature, breakfast outside in the sun by the swimming pool and diners inside by the fire, as it was a bit chilly in the evenings, were really nice. The food was excellent too. Finally the staff was very kind and efficient. There are several cats on the property - to be mentioned for those who it could be an issue. Also, the property did not serve any alcohol."

"We had a really nice stay. The hotel is nice, everything was clean, really delicious food, friendly staff. There wasn't much entertainment for teenagers, but luckily the wifi worked well :) Our stay was in March and we appreciated the heated pool. The hotel is a bit further from the center (port, souk, cable car...), but we knew that and it wasn't a problem for us."

"A magical place. Perhaps the best memory of our road trip. The view is incredible and there are lots of opportunities for walks. The Dar is easier to find and access than we thought. Hamid and his colleague are very attentive. They organized a mule ride for our 3-year-old daughter and a lunch stop in a small nearby village. They are also attentive to meal requests, and the living room with its fireplace is a real comfort after a day of walking. Nothing to complain about. We'll definitely be back soon."
