"The cottage (more correctly apartment) is on the top of a ridge between Friars Bay and Marigot. It's possible to walk to the lovely Friars Bay beach, and into Marigot. The location means that a/c isn't really needed, because there are always fresh breezes blowing through. We left windows open to take advantage of this. It is very well equipped with a big fridge and oven, and cafetière and microwave. Beds are comfortable. It's easy to cook nice meals. There are beach restaurants at Friars Bay, and a restaurant on the main road nearby."
"The steep hill up to the property isn't a big problem if you know and select low gear in advance. We saw no mosquitoes despite having open windows. There were quite a lot of ants. Many restaurants and shops are closed Sundays."
"Owners were very responsive and attended to requests promptly. Unit is well-equipped, comfortable queen-sized bed, and a full kitchen. Close drive to a nice beach."
"Unfortunately the road leading up to the top of the hill where the unit is located is very steep and in poor condition. A difficult drive up. A 4 wheel drive would be recommended."

Everything is thought out, there is enough of everything in the kitchen (dishes, equipment). Drinking water is free for guests. A very cozy and pleasant place. Near the beach on Pinel Island."

"Our host was wonderful at responding quickly to my questions while booking. He was helpful upon arrival, and I believe he has created a very nice little apartment for a vacation. Location was good for access to the main roads as we explored the island. The apartment is secure. It has most everything we needed for the week. We did not use the swimming pool area."
